TOPIC: Don't Blow it on The April 1st Show
Posted  Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 4:04 PM
Post 1 of 36
Tickets for the Exit/In show go on sale tomorrow (3/16) at 10am. They're $10.

Buy your tickets at Grimey's for a measly $2 service charge if you can or bend over and buy them from Ticketmaster.com for probably $20 or $30.

And don't come bitching to us when the show sells out.

Okay, I'm sorry. No one was really "bitching" on the MB last time. I fully support using the MB to find extra tickets-- especially for long-time fans going through withdrawal. It would be great to actually find an actual use for all this nonsense we call the Features Community.

I'm just saying-- accept the possibility that you will now have to get advance tickets for a Features show and stop assuming you can just walk up to the venue the day of the show (unless you're cool like Keith).

The whole point of this thread was to give a heads-up to the regulars around here because I always have a much better time when the room is filled with familiar faces (unlike the 2 KOL shows I attended). I was just trying to get a rise out of folks to get their attention. Since when did I do anything here other than to get attention?

I would also add that it's amusing you two are getting your panties in a wad when I never actually named names. If you must know, I was talking about that LawnWrangler guy. That dude is such a baby biggrin.gif

I think we're about to start getting a new question on top of "What time do you think the show will start?" and "Is this show 18 and up?"...

"How quick do you think tickets will sell out?"

Oy vey. I'm a little sad that I'll never get to enjoy the Features for under $5 again, but then again paying over $10 makes it seem like they're finally in the big(ger) leagues.

I'll be swinging by a Kroger's on the way home from school today. Yay service charges...

i guess i'll be paying that service charge too. i think that grimey's should be in murfreesboro because that's where i am and it would be way more convenient. also, the exit/in should be in murfreesboro.

hey, don't knock Cookevegas! my hometown is way cooler than first appears. though i will say i think you have to leave to appreciate that fact. or at least most do. i have a hell of a good time whenever i go home.

& as things go, i guess y'all would say i am doubly screwed as i am from the fabulous metropolis of Cookeville & now that i live in the ATL, i will have to pay the gazillion $ in charges to get tix. unless i can convince my friends in Nashville to go pick 'em up for me. but i don't for see that happening. sigh. such is life! rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif laugh.gif

I agree. I love living in Cookieville. Not alot of traffic and we do occasionally get around to having some fun. I work in Nashville and hung out in Murfreesboro and can't say too much for wanting to live in either one.

The Good news is that Cookeville is not too far away and I am going to the April 1st show. Thank you to Nashville for having a club big enough for The Features.

Don't forget, they're located on 8th Ave S (aka Franklin Rd) about half a mile north of Wedgewood now.

Get off of 65 on Wedgewood
Turn right onto 8th Ave. S.
Go about 1/10 of a mile and you'll see the marquis for The Basement on your right.
It's in the same building as The Basement.
I TOTALLY AGREE!
