Forgive me if this has been covered in another thread, but does anyone know what kind of amp/guitar Matt uses?? Just curious.

I feel so....irrelevant.

he plays an ampeg amp, not sure what model. and there's also that acoustic cab with the zoso paint job. not sure what that's for. looks like something from as sparta pawn shop. then there's the mosrite ventures model knockoff, and as most of you have noticed says 'the features' instead of 'the ventures' on the headstock. very pro. anybody know who did that for him?

you have to post a lot more than three times to be relevant!

Don't forget the Lou Reed Guild hollow-body. Or is it a Gretsch? I don't know, he has some other hollow-body as well, and that Boss overdrive.

It's a Gretsch.

I know that Matt also plays an Epiphone Sheraton (it's the yellow hollow-body).

I should know this, but i don't

MATT: Gretch hollow body, Mosrite features model, Epiphone sheraton (i think), Ampeg early 70's 2x12 combo (i think)

ROG: Ric bass, another forgotten bass, can't remember what kind of head, 2 Bag End cabs

ROLLUM: no idea, camel lights, quarter pounder w/ cheese plain, pitcher of water

P: not sure what year Rhodes, full size 60's Farfisa, not sure what model Moog, Casio keyboard, run through some kind of mixer/head, and i think a bass cab.

Parrish's head is a Fender Bandmaster. He also sometimes uses a volume pedal (Ernie Ball?) and a morley Wall.

Roger has recently been using his Fender Precision bass and regularly played an Epiphone Korina Explorer. I like that he uses a green Big Muff.

I think Matt's Gretsch is borrowed from someone, and its pickups look more like ones off a Rick. I've also seen him play an Epiphone solid body unlike anything I've seen before, a Telecaster, an SG, and a Fender Jazzmaster.

just to clear this up. matt plays a gretsch streamliner, a mosrite copy, and an epiphone sheraton. his amp is an ampeg combo, but the speakers are currently out of commision so he runs it through a stupid acousticon cabinet. roger plays a ric, an epiphone explorer, and a p-bass. he plays through a mesa boogie head and bag end cabinets. parrish has a farfisa , a rhodes, a rogue moog, and a yamaha cx-1. he plays through a fender bassman head and some unknown cabinet.

Actually, Roger also has a white Mexican Fender Jazz Bass. I saw this bass for the first time at the last Knoxville show. I think it is rarely used.

<<ROLLUM:  no idea, camel lights, quarter pounder w/ cheese plain>>
I think Rollum prefers Wendy's single with cheese, no pickles or mustard. McDonald's makes the boy barf, esp. if he eats it on Idaho St.  Roadies should know these things.  Oh, and it's a Star Classic set with a prize snare drum.

i bet rollum would only get to 17 pieces and then lose his sense of proprioception. he might make it to 21 because of the addictive seasoning.

the fact that you would know that cici's uses addictive seasoning on their pizza, that you know turtles have short regs, that you like wire, and you know the wonders of eating too much pizza automatically puts you on my relevant list. looks like i'll have to take rollum's name off to make room.

have you ate at the cici's in mboro? do you remember a picture of anand mulji there?

my favorite cici's pizza is pepperoni and jalapenos. i will then take the jalapenos off because
a. i just like the flavoring
b. they always run out of pepperoni
c. i get too excited when i see it and don't take the time to look for more pizza
d. all of the above

things more relevant than the features: cici's pizza, oregon trail, bashing emo kids, relevant lists, can, pere ubu, etc, etc

p.s. i hate barbecue pizza. chocolate pizza is RE-LE-VANT.

Bar-b-q pizza: it's okay, not great
My absolute favorite 2 CiCi's pizza 'flavors' are...

1) the aforementioned pepperoni and jalepeno (I also remove the jalepeno, I just like the flavor!)
2) the kind with just cheese, alfredo, and spinach.  mmmm..

a close 3rd goes to the kind with just cheese and alfredo; it's pretty good too.

I don't eat any of the dessert pizzas.

CiCi's kicks Mr. Gatti's ass AND it's cheaper.

Wow. When I started this post, I just was curious about the Features' gear...but since we're on the subject....this may seem gross, but I love cheeseburger pizza, with pickles an mustard and stuff on it. I've never actually seen one of these at CiCi's unfortunately. Maybe one day.

That sounds interesting. I'm surprised that it's NOT at CiCi's, they have some crazy, crazy 'flavors' of pizza there.

I wish there was a CiCi's closer to where I live. The nearest one is 30 minutes away.

One of my friends once asked if they would make speciality pizzas.  They said yes.  He said 'what if i bring something in to cook on it?'  They said yes.  He said 'what if i bring in a can of corn?  will you make me a corn pizza?'  They said yes.  People don't understand how relevant cici's pizza is.

Some of the things Cici's has can hardly pass for pizza.
Their garlic bread is super relevant.
Cheeseburger pizza is not relevant.  Gross.
Neuboy is the all time most relevant msg board member.
Jamie, my gf eats that nasty spinach pizza.
Mr. Gatti would get his ass kicked by King Cici.
We got to the subject of Cici's because all relevant things make their way into the conversation.

There's actually a CiCis down the street from me. Sometimes, if you go in there late enough, they'll just unload all sorts of pizza on you that would otherwise go to waste. Making a late night CiCi's run and then back in time for Conan is one of the greatest thing I do in any given week.

back to the gear, i can't beleive i've forgotten a lot of that stuff. The most correct is exliontamer.

Also, i used to eat at CiCi's (I call Feces') everyday. it used to be 2.99 for the damn buffet. now its 3.99 and they took away the cinnamon bread, which was the only reason i went there.

I remember going there a few years ago with Rollum and Matt quite a bit. We were all broke, we would have like 5 bucks and change in our pockets so we would get the buy-one-get-one-free Lucky's for 2.15 on the way to the buffet. I think Matt was a fan of the salads. I can't remember what Rollum liked, he's pretty picky, although not when it comes to junk food.

God, I hate CiCi's now.

Feces'??!!
I mean it's not exactly The Palm, but it beats the hell out of most of what you can get for that price.  And such variety!

Mr. Eno2, I agree with you:
1) All relevant things *do* indeed come up in conversation.  What will be next?
2) Neuboy is extremely relevant, one of the most relevant people that I know, in fact.

damn, i do miss buying those cheap luckies from the jordanian market. if it were not for such things, i would have never started smoking. i suppose there's not much to do in m'boro besides smoke cigarettes and wait for the next features show. gentlemen, is this what we refer to the good ole' days? one of the few good things about living in the appalachian foothills is the fact that the cici's price hike has not made it here yet. oh and mountian dancing, that's nice too.
