TOPIC: Exhibit A

So, with almost every cd in my collection, every time i listen to it, i'll remember certain things: what i was doing, something interesting that happened, something about the band, etc.

Today, I found out what that will probably mean for me reguarding the new album. Aside from the amazing show last night, I think I'll remember Exhibit A as being the album that I was listening to in the car when I got in a pretty horrible wreck today that has totalled my van and, saving a few random occurrances, I could have sustained some pretty bad injuries. (As it went, I'm amazingly fine.)

My girlfriend and I had lunch at Marina's and were driving towards Old Fort pkwy, but decided to take that short cut down main street, taking you out behind Hobby Lobby. So, we are on Broad St. and turn left, just as someone runs the red light (doing 30-40 mph, my guess) and slams into the passenger side, causing us to spin around, go on two wheels, hit another van, and then stop. Broken glass everywhere, but the both of us remained pretty okay... she got a some minor burns from the seatbelt. All the while the features were playing... not sure which song, though I'd like to believe for irony's sake it was "Situation Gone Bad"

It's been a pretty long day... just felt the need to share all this.

First of all: I'm glad you both are OK.
Second of all: Murfreesboro is full of bad drivers.
Third: Did the CD survive, out of curiosity?
That's so NA.

Scary! Glad you had the Features to "see you through" it though...and I'm glad you're safe.

in talking with my girlfriend, she remembered it was on 'blow it out'...which, in the case of the airbags, also fits.

That's amazing. I'm glad you're okay.

I bought the CD today, and listened to it at perhaps the highest volume ever in my car.

But nothing exciting happened to me. Maybe tomorrow?

I was reading the liner notes for the first time. Congratulations to the FMB members who were mentioned by name. I know many of you have put many thankless hours into helping the band, and you all certainly deserve the props!

I guess we should have told you that that road (Bridge Ave.) is closed.

Good news is that school's been called off at noon today and we (teachers and students) don't have school tomorrow. My concern, will the Chattanooga CD Release Party be cancelled? I'm going to be angry if it is. I want my own copy of the CD and I want to hear the Features play. Damn you Ivan, damn you to hell!

Yeah, Ray Davies and I had planned on making the trip to Chattanooga after I get out of class tonight. I didn't even think about this stupid hurricane junk. I was really looking forward to the show. So, what's the weather like there, Bittersweet Me or James Riot? PM me if you get a chance. I guess we're going to wait until 4:00 when i get out of class and see what's going on.

stupid rain. ph34r.gif
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

it's good to know that you weren't hurt in the wreck. Murfreesboro has very bad drivers.

on another note, I hope Ivan doesn't ruin my plans for the show tonight.

I checked the weather for Chattanooga for Tonight: A wind driven heavy rain. Low 72F. Winds ESE at 25 to 35 mph. Rainfall over two inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

That sucks...
