TOPIC: FANSITES FOR 'THE FEATURES'
Posted  Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 9:09 PM
Post 1 of 15
I've been looking the band up online, but haven't found that much! Does anyone know of any fansites for 'the features' or any other sites that have decent info on the band? I've found a few interviews and whatnot, but nothing that updated....
bang bang boom, i knew you'd get in

I run their official Myspace profile @ www.myspace.com/thefeatures
Someone started an unofficial fangroup on there, too.
[If you're not familiar with Myspace (or it's far crappier counterpart Friendster), it's a free online social networking service. You can start your own profile with pictures, bio, interests, etc. Then, you get your friends to connect their profiles to you so you can post bulletins to them, comment on their profiles, and send personal messages and stuff. The Features have a profile that is specially catered towards bands. I must say though, that their official website is MUCH MUCH more informative.]

I believe there's an unofficial LiveJournal group, too.

At one time, there was also a bootleg trading site run by MB member "Jakob Dorof" and a lyrics page by "Wiyum".

Unfortunately, their name doesn't really lend itself to a good google search. You might also want to add the words "Pelham" "Sparta" and/or "Spongebath" if you're using a search engine.

Ok, I started (and I stress started) a fansite. the URL is http://home.att.net/~features/. Be warned that there is absolutely no content as of yet. Please post here if you have any suggestions or would like to allow use of anything you've written in posts here or pictures, etc. Also, I would like to ask Carl if putting up lyrics is kosher.

I can't say officially (so this post comes from "carligula"), but Wiyum did it for several songs on his site, so I guess it's cool. Just no MP3s! And if you use this MB as a source, it would be nice if you could reference the MB and all the users who contributed to compiling the lyrics.

Posting official lyrics on the site has been discussed for years now, but I see no signs of that happening anytime soon.

Oh crap, you're kidding about the mp3s, right? I've already got over a hundred up.

In all seriousness, are MP3s no longer "allowed" by the band?

At the very least it's a touchy area.

It seems that MP3s of post-Exhibit A songs are prohibited.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

I was really hoping that you would have included your suggested album covers for Exhibit A. Yours were much better, really.
