TOPIC: Favorite Press Photo

Okay, this is in response to the link that Ray Davies so graciously brought to us. The original topic degenerated (partly due to myself) to how much we hate Matt's clothes and how hott the guys are (it's damn true).

So, in light of that, I started this poll to hopefully get everyone's opinion of the best, most representative picture of the band. I would like to believe that our opinion counts-- even to the slightest degree. I would like to think that the band/management cares about our opinion on the matter. Or, at the very least, I'm sure BrianW will pass along the word...

You may have noticed I left out the alternate color version of 61, the pic with Brian Carter, and the one where Matt has his eyes closed. Sorry if you liked one of these three the best, but we're limited to 10 choices (which obviously points to the inferiority of Brian and Michael as webmasters mad.gif)

By the way, I think all of these pics are fantastic (way to go, Chuck!). I strongly voted for #34, though (for reasons I previously outlined).

It was hard to decide between 34 and 92, but I went with 92. I can supply good reasons later, but all in all 34 and 92 are the best.

God...too hard...too hard...

It was a very hard decision, but I narrowed it down to 92, 34, and 28. I also love 29 (one of the non-options). I ultimately chose 28. Parrish doesn't look as much like he's attempting to be a supermodel in 28, and I like the dimensions of the photo better than that of the others.

Very nice photos, Chuck. smile.gif

Is anyone else creeped out by Roger in #28 and #26? I am. Maybe that's a good thing.

I'm actually not fond of Roger in #49. I loved that one, but I just don't enjoy how Roger's leaning or something.

Mybe it's the fact that his arm is moving and, therefore, blurry. I think he's scratching his ass. Wait, can I change my vote?

Three threads about this? Let me add that this is NOT an official press photo shoot. So continue on, but know that these probably won't appear anywhere anytime soon, though Chuck is a great photographer.

Good. I don't think these photos were all that great, or at least not good enough to be official press release photos of the band.

Yeah, well, at least it's Features related, right? It would be nice to see them used in some context-- like on the website or flyers. Okay, maybe not on flyers.

I'm shocked by the lack of agreement here. I just assumed everyone would have the same feelings on the best picture, but up to this point, over half have 1 vote and only one has 2 votes.

Yeah, I'm glad there's Features talk and this certainly qualifies, but I'm just passing on some info about a photo shoot that wasn't suppose to be official but was certainly causing a lot of talk. Which really is a good thing if you think about it.

I liked #111 the best, but of the choices, I'll go with #73.
