I have heard rumors that the Features will be playing in Atlanta on Friday, Feb. 21. Is this true?

I'm sure Leo Mazzone will be there, with the entire bullpen.
We'll miss you Mr. Hooper.

What if he gets there late and all of the seats are taken? Can he rock back and forth while standing like he does while sitting? Could this cause some sort of spontaneous combustion?

indeed it is. the show is at the echo lounge, one night after mission of burma graces the stage.

is it 10 high? you're smarter than me and you pay attention, so i'll trust you. ignore me. it's "10 high". THE FEATURES ARE PLAYING AT 10 HIGH IN ATLANTA, GA ON THE 21ST OF FEB......THEY WILL MOST LIKELY NOT PLAY BURMA

I hope it's not at a time either, oh wait...

I wish this could have made the 'shows' page before I made plans for that weekend.

A write-up I found on the show in Atlanta:

10 High Club 10:00PM

Music fans who love real melody, harmony and pop songcraft played with high energy, won't want to miss this lineup. First up are Nashville's The Features, a modern psychedelic pop/rock band with some classic roots showing. Next is What The...?, a power-pop/Brit Invasion/roots-rock trio whose sound is sure to please dancing fools and brainy wallflowers alike. Rounding out the bill is Daemon Records' Paul Melancon, one of Atlanta's best kept secrets - an exquisite singer/songwriter in the vein of Squeeze, Crowded House, Matthew Sweet and Michael Penn. If you don't get out much and would like to discover some of Atlanta's best local talent, but don't know where to turn out of all the hundreds of choices, this is the show to see! Quality songwriting, quality musicianship, and a very upbeat bunch of folks. For more information, email fanclub@what-the.com or visit What The...?'s web site at http://www.what-the.com, or Paul Melancon's site at http://www.paulmelancon.com.

Please, please, please say it's 18+....how is it that it takes so long to find this out (because they never post this information for the shows I want to see), and bars/clubs never have (working) e-mail addresses, phone numbers that they answer, or answering machines that they listen to??

On a lighter note, I discovered MC Paul Barman is playing at the Echo Lounge...
Why would you do that?

According to their site the shows coming up this week are all listed as 21+. My guess is they are a 21 and over club, but I'll try to find out something official.

They are always 21+...De Novo Dahl is playing there on the 28th of Feb and it says 21+ for that one on their site.

It's definitely 21+. I called the place, and, as usual, there are no exceptions. Bastards.

poop. none of the shows that are close to me are 18+. Guess I'll have to drive. why why why can't places be 18+??

some call it the "buckley conspiracy."

when things don't go my way, i call it the smee conspiracy, but i put my "real" name in instead of smee. god forbid you guys should actually know my "real" name. although maybe i'll stick with smee conspiracy, since it has a nice ring to it.

No, your real name has a better ring because of the alliteration.

I'm sorry to report that this show has been cancelled. I have no details on the matter, but you can scratch this one of your list. Check out the shows page for details of other upcoming shows, including the South by Southwest performance. SxSW is really, really cool. So I hear.

They've finally come to their senses down in TX! This is great news. My question is: Will Buffalo Head be the featured song of the performance?
