NOTE: First Round voting has ended

For more information on the Features NCAA Tournament, go
here.

March Madness has begun! Take a look at the matchups below. To vote, send me a private message, copy all the songs below, and for each matchup delete the song you like LEAST. Each PM for this round should have a list of your 32 prefered songs (1 for each matchup).

Alternatively, you may vote for select matchups. We realize that not everyone has had the opportunity to hear every song, but we'd still like your opinion on the songs you DO know.

Like last year, I created four divisions loosely based on the history/context of each song. Seedings have been modified to reflect the performance of the song in last year's tournament and to create entirely new matchups in the first few rounds. Some songs, sadly, have been removed to make way for the newer material. Some of the new material, however, was so new that I decided not to include it this year.

Last year, the Spongebath champ was pitted against the Universal champ in the final four while the Old Favorites champ faced off against the New/Rare champ. To make it interesting, I decided to shift the divisions so the Spongebath champ will face the Old Favorites champ and the Universal champ will face the New/Rare champ.

So, start sending me those PMs! Voting for this round ends saturday at noon CST! Voting for the next round will begin shortly after that (hopefully within an hour).

see you thru vs. serious?

deadly. I had to go with see you thru bc it;'s my favorite features song of all time. but serious up against almost anything else would have won.

I voted for Harold. Isn't everyone sick of Thursday yet?
I TOTALLY AGREE!

I voted for Harold just because I wan to see it survive. I'm not sick of Thursday, and I probably like it more, but Harold is way too good to let die.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

It's not that I'm sick of it per se, but usually, I'd MUCH rather hear a song they didn't play instead.
