Roger and Parrish are being interviewed on the local show at 10:00PM on 102.9. Listen to it!

the radion is a new device humans do not yet know about...but a normal radio will work.

They are playing 'Walk You Home' right now after the first segment, and all I can say is...

I personally feel dumber after listening to Miss Ditz DJ.

Roger and Parrish are as I'd expect, a little quiet. I am reminded of what makes the difference between good and bad discussion in any classroom (or interview): asking good questions. Maybe if the DJ wouldn't just sit and talk about her concert experiences and ask decent questions.

I was riding home in someone else's car and heard the 'woah oh oh oh oh oh oh's of 'Leave It All Behind' before she rudely put in her Cure tape. It took me a moment to place the song and when I figured it out, I tried to get her to put it back on, but she wouldn't! Damn ho. Anyway, I didn't even realize there was a recording of that song. When can we expect it to be floating around Cyberspace?
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

mr. davies, just go to yahoo, click on briefcase, then enter roryhaas as the username and features as the password. once you've signed in i think you have to click on 'my folders' or 'my files' or something else to that effect... the mp3 is the only file in there so it shouldn't be to hard to figure out. enjoy...

I have an mp3 of it too if anyone wants to contact me. I could even send it through AOL IM. On audiogalaxy, you can enter 'Leave it all behind' and then the artist's name is 'the ventures'. Download it. I guarantee it's the Features. That's where I got mine.

WHAT? They were being interviewed then? I remember coming home one Sunday night (if I think longer I'll be able to remember what I was doing) and I heard "Walk You Home" playing on the Local Buzz so I drove around my neighborhood for the entire 3 minutes, circling my house so I could hear the whole song on the radio. Of course, since I wasn't on the board then, I didn't know that that was an interview! I turned the radio off! I went inside my house! Cruel fate!

Yeah, I usually keep them for about 2 weeks or so. I just wasn't feeling the Phil Collins anymore, and I did have a Dickie Dawson one for 15 minutes today before the Han Solo hit me.

And Tom changes them quicker than Liz Taylor changes husbands.

We know we've hit a dry spell of topics when we start just ressurrecting old threads.

Anyway, the local buzz played tracks off of "The Beginning" EP every Sunday night, and so it's quite likely you were just listening to any old night of the Local Buzz.

I was linked here through the MP3's thread, and I just responded.

But you are probably right....I can't imagine why I would have been out on April 21st....now I can rest in peace.

As I posted that night, the interview wasn't all that great. You'd do better to drunkenly write a few questions on a napkin at any given Features event and ask Roger to write his responses and return them to you.

In a small sense I think that it is, only because I can't identify his posts with the image. I've given to ignoring the name and just checking the avatar and having a good idea who I'm looking at, but TF defies it all.

But I like his multiple avatars, and he repeats them some too, to make it a bit easier.

I just did this because I was bored and curious and there were a few more in there. I only tried Moonlight (I thought maybe it was a recorded version.. it wasnt) and Paid to Think but Paid to Think is a different version then the Mahaffey version on the MP3 site. It sort of got an acoustic guitar sound at the beginning. Anyways, this is really irrelevent and all the songs are a year old but yeah.

Does this set a record as the first thread to be resurrected twice?

Rachel, you're going to get in big trouble for giving away someone's secret treasure trove of Features recordings.

Yes, of course I'm kidding.

According to the ID3 tag of that version of "Paid to Think," it's the version from Soaking in the Center of the Universe, Volume 1, which was a sampler CD released by Spongebath Records around 1998. I'd have to compare it to the version I have at home to make sure, but this would make a lot of sense since that version is much more common.

This reminds me that I still need to find a high-quality copy of Mahaffey's "Paid to Think."

The version of "Moonlight" in that briefcase looks like my handiwork, but I don't remember releasing it. Did I put it on the MP3 site or something?

I'm pretty sure that I posted my copy of it on the MP3 site.

Of course, if my copy isn't high-quality enough for you, then okay.... dry.gif

It was more likely that it was me who put up your handiwork (if it's ours), but I don't remember either.
