I heard this rumor too. Brian W mentioned it in the most recent boro concert review.

i heard that at this exit/in show that i also heard about, that a secret love triangle within the band (which may or may not involve a pregnancy by the way!) is going to be unveiled in the form of a new song (preformed by the member not involved in the triangle). i can't wait. i also heard there's gonna be lots of bitch-slapping. sweet.

actually, i just heard rumors of the exit/in show. guess i got caught up in the moment. rolleyes.gif

That's a serious line up! I'm very excited about this show. Is Exit/In 18+ or 21+? And will the IRS be there to collect money against Exit/In's tax debt?

Also, I heard that a certain drunk girl will be there to stir up trouble.

I get the scoop tomorrow. I ran into a friend (regular bartender = friend, in my book) on his way to the tax hearing today.

I saw Verde perform at the End a little over a month ago and was very impressed. I liked the singer's voice a lot (Mrs. Dewese, I believe is her name). I happened to see De Novo Dahl the same evening, but never really got "into" their show. I remember liking their lead guitarist, but not liking the singer much. I kinda thought his acoustic guitar took away from the songs at times. However, this is nit-picky stuff considering they are local. Plus, I usually don't like bands the first time I hear their music (especially live). So, I will probably have a completely different opinion after Feb. 6. As ray davies knows, I'm a fickle bitch. I haven't gotten to go to the Exit/In since I saw the Vue and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club over a year ago. I am ecstatic about gettin to go back!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is Verde and Lone Official opening. However, if you want to see Verde with De Novo Dahl (cheap plug) you can on January 31st at Slow Bar.

And it's MS. Dewese.

My fault. I thought she was married to the guy that she performs with in the "Dewese Family Singers". I guess that's her brother or something. My apologies to those offended. Can anyone please clarify this situation?

Unfortunately, yes, that is true. And they are hands down the most beautiful couple I know. Fun fact: verde's original lineup was her on vocals and guitar and him on drums and backing vocals.

I dunno. I heard a rumor. And I guess that that rumor was not completely correct. I'm disappointed too, as I like De Novo Dahl better. No offense to Lone Official (I like 'em), but I just don't think that they'll go over well at all with the Features' crowd.

Seeing as how the show is on a Thursday, it's hard for us students to make it...especially out of towners from Knoxville. I'm gonna try to make it though if someone could be a pal and get me times and directions. I'd be driving back that night with an 8am class the next day so I still dunno.

Incidentally, I heard through the grapevine that they're doing a show in Chattanooga on Jan. 31 with at least 3 other bands. I dunno if it's some kind of festival or what. Anybody know about the credibility?
