Matt lifts with his knees, not his back.

Features went on earlier than expected, so we only caught the last song, but they were rockin' and the crowd was very good (60-80 people? ish?) and loud and excited. But really, breakdown is the coolest part of the show anyway, right?

Stayed for a little bit of The Matches' set; by then about a third of the crowd had left. (The Matches were much louder and had spent their day causing a car wreck in Hollywood.)

If anyone still doubts my existence, you can ask JamesonTV who has known me since before I was born. I'm so glad you went & I'm so sorry you missed most of it! Hugs & kisses for the effort & the pictures. Cyrus- how was the crowd response throughout? Do you remember any of the songs that were played?

Doubters-- I have known her since she was born, and I can assure you that she does not exist. She is merely a figment of her own imagination.

The crowd response was really good. Half of the crowd were (ex) Tennesseans so they were really cheering for their friends. When I got to the club I saw the band chatting with the Self guys and a couple of the Fluid Ounces. Those ex-Spongebath bands all seem to really respect one another and have great camraderie. Aside from all that though, they really won the room over I think. If they came to rock, then mission accomplished.
Some of the songs played were Walk You Home, Exorcizing Demons, Someway, Somehow, Blow It Out, Me and the Skirts, God Save Rock N Roll, etc etc.

I had my best friend go to the show (even though she wanted to go on her own will--she's another former tennessean and used to go to original-line-up-features shows with me back in the day). I was very glad she got to see them.

Thanks for the great pics. I'd love to go and see the Features play in LA. Maybe that can be arranged someday (dos is playing there in the near future, and THAT rare show really makes me wish I could be out that way)
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

Dude, I love the features so much, I get all tinglely/ star struck and hyper when I see the guys! I can remember myself at the 12th and P show they putting their equipment on stage and stuff and I was just like bopping up and down. I couldn't wait for the show! rolleyes.gif
