I was wondering what types of guitars Matt plays. Can't tell if he's playing Mosrite knock offs or an original. Thanks all.

We need a FAQs section for some of these things that keep coming up (no offense to you, someth). Matt's main guitar is a Mosrite copy that is a "Features" model instead of a "Ventures" model. There's a close-up of its head stock somewhere on this board.
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

I ran a search earlier to see if I could find any info on this but nothing came up. I agree that a FAQ would probably be a good idea. Also looked at the pictures and couldn't find a legible picture of the headstock. A number of companies have made Mosrite copies in the past and I'm curious as to which model Matt plays.

under lyrics & tabs you can find a thread titled "what kind of guitar does matt play?" or something. somewhere in between the smart ass remarks about "the deatures" there's a picture.

wait, you started that thread..

Ah, yes. When I jumped over to the message board I was only looking over the past 30 days and I'd forgotten about that original thread. The original post on this subject proved to not be very helpfu thoughl, as the message thread was hijacked and devolved into discussions of things like...oh...animal welfare and masturbation. Perfectly sacrosanct topics in their own right, but not directly related to the question of what kind of Mosrite copy Matt plays.

A faq is an excellent idea!!! either that or a complete band bio. these type of questions will only grow in number as the band's following increases, besides a few of us current fans would prolly find out some cool new stuff as well.

As far as I know, the Mosrite is a knock off. For some reason I remember someone saying that it was made either by Danelectro or Ibanez. I could be totally wrong about that, though. I'm sure exliontamer knows.

Chris Slack's Mosrite is the real deal holyfield, though. And my (our) friend Scott used to have a real one but he sold it to some japanese business man or something on ebay. Scott is "the friend of mine" Matt is "staying with" in Exorcising Demons. He now lives in London, and we all miss him!
