As much as I want an album, I would rather have a show right now. Plus, this guy I'm trying to convert just isn't going for the recorded stuff.. he needs some live shows to see what I'm talking about.

I was getting a very home-sick-esque feeling today while listening to a Features Mix, and this gives me hope that they are moving along smoothly and might come home before next year.

we're back from the most horrible town in the universe with 15 songs. we're going to brooklyn in 2 weeks to mix the record. i believe we're going to pick out 12 to go on the album, so fights are bound to ensue. on a personal note, i'd like to thank messageboard legends YaDaDaDa and Token for the fine piano(which i hope can be tuned). we'll probably play some local shows in july.

ahhhhhh! this is the best news I've heard in a while! shows in July!!! I had a weird feeling there would be no more shows until like september or until the album was released... I honestly could not be any happier. I really hope that it's early July. I'll be gone the second half.

no kidding rachel... I meant to include my jealousy in my other post, but guess the excitement made me forget. I'll be in the NY area in 2 weeks, If I bought them dinner i wonder if they'd give me a shoutout too...lol

If buying Rollum a musical instrument is the way to get a little shoutout I would gladly buy him a kazoo.

I'll return the shoutout, because I have been waiting to thank the guys ever since and have been struggling to keep my mouth shut!!!

So they show up at Token's...it's Rollum, Matt, and Parrish. (Roger wasn't there, and I'm suspicious about the smack and hoes thing) Parrish tested it a little, and then Matt picked up my guitar and they played us a couple of tunes, including a new one that is sooo cool. I can't wait to hear it with the full band. We talked a little about the record and some other stuff, and it was waaay cool. There are some good things coming soon!

Holy crap, that's awesome! Sorta makes up for them not playing your wedding, huh?

Wow, that is an amazing tale. They should film that and show it every May 2nd...

The prospect of July shows will keep me going until then.

I'm usually not one to make fun of cripples but I had one exception. I was at six flags and there was this guy in a wheel chair. He was kinda cute and I loved his hair so I was like "Aw Sarah look at his hair!" Right as we looked over the guy that had been pushing his wheelchair hit a bump and cute hair boy actually fell out of his wheelchair. I almost died laughing.

Man, I still can't contain myself when I see midgets/dwarves. There are so many at UGA, which I find kind of odd. I feel like movies have trained me to view them as humorous, not dumb or freaky, just humorous (Angelo in Death to Smoochy was great...). So when I see them running around campus, it's so hard not to smile. I mean, is that wrong??? They make me smile. Is it a crime to smile????????? Should I feel guilty?
