the buzz isn't clearchannel, but they should still be called. And I think you're 100% correct. People can "nay-say" all they want, but if enough calls are sent out... I'm sure they'll either play the band because they like the single, or play the band because they're sick of us calling 24/7. And yes, if everyone here on the message board consistantly called for 1-2 weeks, I'd be willing to bet $100 it gets played more than once. (I'd really like to know if some of these stations even have "The Way its Meant to Be" - b/c if they don't I'd almost buy it for them myself)

I sent several people at The River e-mails this morning and plan to call this afternoon.

Well, it is The Features... they still need to be cute... and female... for now...

woody and jim from 107.5 the river sent me a reply this morning. They said they'd look for it,,, but no promises. perhaps if they got a few phone calls they'd be inclined to look a little bit harder? Anyway, as much as I hate the river and their consistant musical crap track, I do like Woody and Jim.

I sent e-mails to all the dj's on all the sites listed above (yes I did have a TON of free time on my hands yesterday) hopefully I'll at least get a few more responses.

By the way, what is the number for the MTSU and Vandy stations?

The Features position can probably be attributed to the fact that the CD was not available for most dj's to play last week. The ones who did played the old copy and recorded it as new. Next week I hope it is higher.

Hey man-thanks for the update. In a surprising twist, I am to a Features fan. And to further add the twist, I graduated high school down in Sparta with Matt and Roger (and yes, although I don’t keep in touch with them, I do consider them friends), and also went to school with Parrish. I’ve followed their success and am definitely watching the progress of their new single. I’ll see what I can do! I might even try to score an interview with the guys sometime soon for the show! Thanks again and keep me posted!

how did your "meeting" go?

Strange things happened!!
I left the stuff at the station,with the night dj,and did'nt get to speak with him until Tuesday morning.During the conversation that morning he was talking about the Ep,and that he thought there was a place for it in there program.He seemed very impressed.He directs for 3 more stations in the area,and they will be having there monthly music meeting on Monday,and he going to introduce the cd to all at the meeting!!!
He was going to let freaky dave go ahead,and play it once Tuesday night,but while I was having this conversation with him,he told me to hold on,he had a call........The radio went dead,and in a few minutes he said he had a family emergency.His father had had an anuriszm,or however you spell it!!
He left the studio locking the EP in his office!!!!!
They are keeping me informed on his situation.I spoke with them about 30 minutes ago,and he should be back to work in the morning for awhile.
I'll probably not bother him anymore untill his dad is better,and just hope for the best after there meeting on Monday..Damn thats alot of writing.
