Do you guys remember the Budweiser comercials with the penguin that sang and everyone was always scared of him? He'd say "Do be do be do~" I liked that penguin.

Was that Parrish supplying the voice for the penguin? Otherwise, we're once again in the wrong forum.

while it may be in the wrong forum, any friend of mine can tell you that i have a serious fear of penguins because of that commerical. it's really weird that this topic was brought up...

Yes, I remember that commercial. I never really got afraid of penguins after viewing it, and I still love seeing them at the zoo.

for the record, i never puke. the only hard part will be making sure that i don't pee off of decks or porches when there are lots of people around. it tends to promote a bad image.

penguins are fun...especially at the zoo. if you want to be scared of penguins just watch batman returns.

...or watch the new weezer video, in which muppet penguins sit on their amps during the performance.

those were the days! getting out of school because of snow. now that i'm in college snow means you still go to class. very sad.

After viewing the Keep Fishin' video for the 6th time, i realized that the penguin on Brian's amp looks a lot like Brian. And the little shimp/crab thing resembles Scott.

In Chicago snow means that you have to go to class, and that you'll be staring at drifts taller than you on the way.

Which reminds me of what my huge culture shock was regarding Chicago and snow. In Tennessee, if it snows, the snow is gone and forgotten before it snows again. In Chicago, the snow stays for months, and more of it comes and the drifts get taller and taller, and more snow comes and more snow comes and its really weird.

Same with much of the North, I know, but as someone that had only lived in Tennessee, it was a shock.

personally, ever since i was one of those first ten callers and won that beanie, i have been a channel five newshound kinda girl myself. i mean c'mon, he's a newshound.

Yeah, but can a newshound survive arctic temperatures? Snowbird is a penguin, a hardcore penguin at that. He can survive the snow, man.

And dont' get me started on channel 5. Dimetria Kalodimos is a Greek goddess! She's a celebrity! And Dan Miller was the sidekick on a nation-wide talk show. I don't think channel 5 has anyone who can compare to those two megastars of news.

A friend of mine (of questionable reliability) claims that she saw Bill Hall when she was in her early teens and said how much she used to love Snowbird. His repsonse: "I hate that fucking bird."

Probably not true, but it'd be great if it was.
