TOPIC: If the Features were superheroes or villains...

In a tribute to Digsy's amazing comic book prowess, it occured to me that our beloved Features are more than ordinary musicians. Some of them have special powers. The question is, which comic book character is each Feature most like?

Pelham = I have to go with Spiderman, who is unassuming during day-to-day life, but is an ass-kicker when he is fighting crime.

Rollum = I'm going with the Barry Allen "Flash", just because he was cooler.

Parrish = "Thing." If you listen hard enough during Circus, you can hear Parrish say "It's clobberin' time!"

Roger = Sabretooth

It's been quite a while since I've looked at any comics, so I know some of you are thinking of people that I have forgotten. Let's see them.

Geez, this is really hard to do...of course mine are limited to the X-Verse since that is what I am best at...

Rollum - Kurt Wagner a.k.a. Nightcrawler. Acrobatic, charming, jaunty, sassy, and I'm pretty sure Rollum has to have a prehensile tail to do the drumming on "Look Out Below."

Roger - Remy LeBeau a.k.a. Gambit. No one can deny the charm and studliness of Roger; some might say he has a kinetic charm. And after seeing him weild that morrocca, I'm sure he could use a bo staff with deadly accuracy.

Parrish - Henry 'Hank' McCoy a.k.a. The Beast. Big, cuddly, hairy, dextrous, all adjectives that describe both men. I bet Parrish could play the keyboard with his feet if he wanted to.

Matt - Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man. There really is no one else that I can think of that mixes both awkwardness, kindness, humour, and the ability to totally flip-out and do mega-damage.

Rollum - Kurt Wagner
i read this and thought: "whoa, Rollum is in lambchop." blink.gif
Of course it's dark. It's a suicide note

I don't think I can argue with
Matt Pelham as Spiderman (his twins can be Mary and Jane)
Parrish as Beast

I would change the other two.

Roger is Colossus and turns into steel to play Walk You Home and LIAB.
...or maybe he's Professor X and telepathically reminds us all to sign the mailing list and check out the merch table

Rollum is Wolverine...an unleashed animal. He changed his claws to that three drumsticks come out of each hand.
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

I'd have to say for Roger, I would go with Punisher. Unrelenting.

other than that, your combo was right on, in my opinion, DS.
you're everybody's second home
always trying to get me alone
an easy way to lose it all
always there when all else fails

I'd say Roger is more of a Wolverine than Sabertooth. Sabertooth just seems more like a big burly guy rather than a cat to me. He kinda does resemble an Albatross, as my roommate kept calling him the other day, although isn't that a bird or something?
Why would you do that?

I would think of Rollum as more of a pre-super serum Steve Rogers

Why? Does he seem that patriotic to you? Or do you envision him with a huge crash cymbal shield?

Well, pre super-serum Steve Rogers was pretty darn lean...
