It's new to me to be sure. However, I'm not adding it to the discography because I'm guessing that it has been improperly titled, and that this is in fact a recording of the fabled "48" which was once thought to be called "Try." You can hear the word "try" repeated several times.

Anyone got any confirmation here? Is this in fact the fabled 48?

Originally, the site was set up as a place for Features' songs and for recommending other songs. My suspicion is that this song is a recommendation...perhaps from the Andrew Bird reportoire. I haven't listened to it though, so I wouldn't know. Can anyone else confirm this?

My sentiment is that this is most certainly The Features. It is labeled as such (once downloaded). Listen, I really believe it is 48. Otherwise, its a new song (in that we weren't aware of it, it sounds kinda old-school Features to me). Good recording in any case.

I un-lazied myself and listened to it. It is a lo-fi bootleg from the Don Sergio era. The song is labeled as "Try" on the only bootleg copy I have of it. If you say that it is actually called "48", then I guess we have a winner, Will.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain that it's called 48. Cool.

I just listened to it, I had never heard the song before. It does sound a bit old school to me too. I like though smile.gif
