Did The Features join Movement Nashville?
I TOTALLY AGREE!

I'm glad it's there and not at the Mercy Lounge. Not until January, though?
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

According to the Mercy Lounge website, it's on January 13th. I changed the title from "Jan. 7th to Jan. 13th" to avoid confusion.

The Cannery sucks.

The Cannery sucks.
I think the Mercy Lounge sucks more. I wish they'd play Exit/In. Those shows were much more fun.

I'm not crazy about the tables at Mercy Lounge, but that's the main thing that makes Exit/In better for shows.

I hate the L-shaped room for the Cannery with all those poles in the way.

I think Exit/In sounds better (especially on stage), but Mercy Lounge treats bands a lot better. Exit/In has a $250 production fee and takes a serious chunk out of the door. Mercy Lounge is much cheaper. I would assume this may have something to do with why The Features are playing there/the cannery more than Exit/In. I know that's the case for DND (who just happen to be playing at Mercy Lounge TONIGHT...cheap plug).

The Cannery sucks.
I agree. It's a very awkward room(for shape and sound). Mercy Lounge sucks too.
Nothin' gets in my way....Not even locked doors!

Yeah, not so crazy about the lineup either. I mean, good Lord those two bands play in town all the time. I remember when Features shows used to be events, with cool bands that I'd actually enjoy. Shouldn't The Slacks be playing this show, what with that whole split 7-inch thing on the horizon. Maybe Daiglenetics is merging with Mao-vment Nashville. Oh God...
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.
