We jumped the gun by discussing the show on the 18th. I can't get excited about that one yet because Atlanta stands in the way.

So...who is going to be there?
I'm coming with TF and Token. I'm debating whether I'll record it or not.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I could use some time in Atlanta. Mike_D will be there for sure.

Have any of you ever been to The Earl? What kind of place is it? To which Nashville venues would it compare?

Well then I'll have to go so I can have a deadline for your mix CD.

The Earl is a decent venue in that they have a good bar that serves food in the front and the music area is separate. Eat some onion rings while you're there. The sound has never been great when I've been there, but it's a popular place & the strange caddy-corner placement of the stage actually allows good views for most audience members. I guess I would compare it to the Slow Bar in terms of crowd/vibe but the music area is much larger.

Plus, it will be nice for one of us triplets to reprazent.

I'll be at the beach. Don't have too much fun without me.

If the sound isn't great at The Earl, I doubt I'll bother with recording it.

The sound is great at The Earl. i saw Spoon there--amazing!

Maybe I'll finally get to meet Roger since sina won't be around to hog his attention.


I've spent most of my time there at the front bar/restaurant. The only non-Features show I saw there was Apples in Stereo & we've already discussed their penchant for shitty overly loud sound. So, hopefully I'll be proven wrong this weekend!

ok. So who's really going to this show? I am seriously thinking of going w/ smee, b/c the outlook is bad for me to make it to the 18th show. But.... she and exliontamer are going to stay in atlanta sat. night. Anyone wanna get to know me? Say, in the car on the ride back to town?? anyone?!

After you guys left, I told "them" that you guys were going to bash me on the msg. board the next day b/c I ditched you. Don't hate me guys! I am totally sorry, you were so gracious to offer after I pleaded and whined and cried....j/k. Actually, I bet you would have been tons of fun, I slept the whole way home on a makeshift pallet on top of equipment, it was an experience at most. I'll let you guys make plans with me and ditch me with no hard feelings, deal?!
