No, but I like the artwork. It reminds me of the opening credits to Full House for some reason.

Very pretty. I'm also interested in what the b-side(s) may be.

I'm glad they haven't abandoned the "hair" graphic. I still wear my t-shirt all the time and it's a real attention-getter.

Can't wait to hear about b-sides...

I like the hair graphic too, and I wear my t-shirt all the time. I always get a lot of people asking me about it.

Ugh...

According to www.hmv.co.uk: There are two formats

7" single:
1. Leave It All Behind
2. Two By Two

CD single:
1. Leave It All Behind
2. Walk You Home

Maybe it's not right, but I doubt it. I'm kinda disappointed.

That is perfectly fitting for the song, IMO. Really surreal and calming...not to mention stunningly captivating!
What were you thinking when you saw the light?
Were you surprised to find the world outside?
I felt so sorry for your little head
Was it depressing to just lay in bed?

Oh no sad.gif

'Walk you home' is on the album, isn't it? I might just buy the 7" then.

When is the single released?

Walk You Home and Two By Two are both on the Beginning EP. I remember hearing that they definitely re-recorded The Beginning (Week One) a maybe another song or two from the EP during the sessions that led to the LP, so maybe these are also re-recordings? Maybe not.

Why aren't they releasing the handfull of songs that didn't make it to Exhibit A? Are they saving them for something?

Maybe Album #2? Although I'm sure they'd be able to come up with tons of material for a 2nd album either way.

I really want to go to a Features show. I missed the last one, and I really miss the wild excitement that is a Features concert.

I can only hope that they'll take Europe by storm. Obviously that didn't happen in Amsterdam, though.

The single has been added to the Audio/Video section of the site but doesn't contain any insight that would be really all that beneficial. In fact, you've supplied MORE information in this thread than I have in the site - as I was unaware of the 7". I'll add it in at some point so thanks for the heads up.

I will also inquire about them being re-recordings..

Here's some good news at least:

The Metro is a free newspaper in England. It prints 826,921 copies a day, which makes it the 6th biggest UK newspaper and the biggest free 'paper in the world. It also gets read by easily more than that figure, since most people pick them up from train seats and suchlike (they're distributed at train and tube stations).

So, yeah, they review a few singles each week, and this week they reviewed five. The only one to get as high as 4 stars out of 5 was... you guessed it... The Features!

smile.gif

It's only a little review, but it might help them:

"If there's a lesson in this week's single, it's that nothing beats a chorus that goes 'woah-oah-woah'. And one of the Tennessee rockers (pictured) wears a sheepskin jacket and flat cap. Respect."

So... that's good, eh?

It still probably won't chart, but it's good at any rate.
...and this ain't one of them...

I was playing Exhibit A to a few friends of mine last night, and once Leave it all Behind came on my friend recognised it. Apparently they're on pretty high rotation on Xfm.

Err, me again. I was just browsing the Xfm site, and you might be keen to vote for The Features in Music:Response.

Music:Response is the listener chart played every day at 7pmGMT. You have to give your postcode, but seeing as you can listen online you could claim to be an avid Xfm liistener.

Anyway - get The Features to number 1!!!

XFM got the friggin' title of the track wrong on the playlist... fools!

smile.gif

Anyway, I bought the single today, for the hell of it.

Sadly, it's not even in the "New Singles" racks in the HMV around Covent garden, which means nobody will see it unless they're really looking for it... which is a shame.

So, I'm not expecting it to chart at all... but the album could be a slow burner and the support gig with KoL can only do good things.

I'll be at the front on Wednesday next week!
...and this ain't one of them...
