MAY THE PEOPLE SPEAK!

Did you mean to sign in as Maggie Mae, Mr. Truth?

My answer to this poll is that I have no idea. The management obviously believes in the band, (as evidenced by years of service with little financial reward) and that's pretty important. They also were in at least some way responsible for getting the band a major label record deal--also no small feat. However, I have no idea HOW responsible they were for that, nor do I know what management has done that isn't in line with what the band wants. Or what they haven't done that the band wanted them to do. You seem very close to the band, Maggie, so perhaps you could shed some light on that. I am of the understanding that a couple years ago, the band wouldn't settle for less than a major label deal. It took awhile, but that's what they got. You seem to have an opinion on the matter, so in your eyes, what are the grievances? Or is this a can of worms I really shouldn't be opening? Maybe I should probably stay out of this. Oh well.

Anyway, I think I'm going with null vote on this one.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

as for money and management. wasn't 20k the finders fee?

I honestly don't feel like I am qualified to make a judgment on that. All that Keith pointed out is true, but I also think of plenty of arguments against them. I think of one former employee saying that anything good that happens to the band happens by accident. I also think of the band's awesome suite in downtown ATL when they played Music Midtown last summer...

No vote given.

So, have they been working with the band for the whole time they've been together? If so, that works out to about 2K a year. Is that for both of them, or apeice?

I don't know enough about anything to vote based on what the band should do. That being said, my only experience in dealing with them calls for the ax.

If this is true I never saw it. the only hotel suite i remember that weekend was the 15 passenger bus we slept in while meeks drove us home after the pixies played.

who in the fuck cares whether the band decides to cut them loose or stay with them? that's a personal decision, and it's a huge one, and really no one but the band and the management should care to have an opinion on it.

I'm not entirely sure, but if it's who I think it is, it isn't good at all. I too am hoping the posts were simply made too soon and that everything will cool down shortly. I could care less what they do with their management, I just hope they stick together....ugh, no pun intented there, really.

Could be both, though... Lions dressed in Leather might just as well have been Universal execs... but the stormy weather could be inserted to mean this week. Also, I'll make the change myself...

"I'm thinking..." not "Maybe..." I don't know what I was thinking.

"Maggie - I wish that I'd never seen your face..." on this thread.

Hmmm... Here's what I think...

Parrish and Rory both have two R's in their names: RR
Matt and Matt both have two T's: TT
Rollum and Roger both start with RO: RO

That give us RRTTRO. That sounds like something Scooby Doo might say. Therefore, we can assume that this is all an elaborate ruse to hide the fact that Universal Studios is producing a new Scooby Doo movie and that the Features will be recording three Rolling Stones songs for the soundtrack.

You missed the obvious mathematical clues, the first two lines imply addition and the third division.

Parrish + Rory = Shrorprairy
Matt + Matt = Tamttatm
Rollum/Roger = Mull/erg (the "ROs" cancel out)

I think it's pretty obvious. Don't you?
