TOPIC: March Madness

So the end of March is in sight, and Jamiecarroll's absence is even more sharply accentuated as we are not voting for the #1 Features song this year.

In his absence, I nominate Carl to take up the reins and direct this for us.

I would nominate TF, but he would make "Stick Together" the top seed in every region...and I don't think he reads this board anymore.

Wow, I was on my way here to lament the absence of the Features March Madness, too.

I would be honored to undertake this task in Ms. Carroll's mysterious absence, although I seriously doubt I could do as superb a job as the aforementioned mother of the messageboard.

First round starts monday...

You know, someone should really do it right and make it web-based. Someone who knows their way around a computer should have no problem knocking it out. You could have an actual viewable bracket and people could vote right there on the site and have the results be viewable in real time.

First of all, obviously you're lurking in some fashion, JamieCarroll, so I think you should just do it. Second of all, having the votes viewable in real time biases the results. I could explain it, but you guys are smart and I'm lazy.

And don't feel left out Carl. I nominate you to revive the senior superlative thread and do that.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

You probably won't believe me, but I really haven't been lurking at all. I was driving around (working) today, listening to the NCAA Tournament on the radio, clutching my bracket, when I suddenly remembered the FeaturesNCAA Tournament, and felt sad, and decided that I missed this place and I wanted to come back. So here I am.

Keith, also, the voting could be set up like the polls on this MB, where you only get to see the results after you've voted (or chosen "null vote").

I feel confidant that Carl will do a great job with the tournament. But if he doesn't want to do it, I'd be glad to. Maybe, since we're getting such a late start, it should be the FeaturesNIT this year.

I came back from spring break last week and almost started a thread about it, but looked at last year's and it was a couple more days before it started last year, so I decided to give it more time. Then I forgot about it.
So I'm Hooking up with David Dewese David Dewese, double D Hooking up with DD DD, don't make me say please again oh no again oh no

The problem with doing it that way is that it would be a separate thread for each match-up. That would be way overwhelming in the early rounds. I could see it in the Final Four, but not in the first three rounds.

I defintely don't want to do it if it means getting you to do it instead. You should totally do it, man. (I may send you some suggestions, though).

I agree with YDDD that we should do the later stages in MB poll form.
