Interview we did with the band The Features. With Rollum Haas and Matthew Pelham. They just released their album "Exhibit A" and we asked them how the band started and what they like about touring. Recorded in May 2005.

"I listen to lots of music. Randy Newman, Scott Walker but I listen to more stuff. Our music is just music we like."

I deleted the identical thread you started in the Cocert Reviews section. I hope that's alright.

I just remebered Matt mentioned the pink spiders in that interview so I checked them out. They sound okay. The Pink Spiders

The Pink Spiders are enjoying a pretty good deal of success lately. They've just signed a deal with Geffen Records and are currently recording with Ric Ocasek (from the Cars who is famous for his work with Weezer).

It was also great to hear them give super-special props to Slack (who unfortunately didn't seem to get the respect they deserved when they opened for The Features on April 1st) and The Privates (although Rollum cleverly ommitted any reference to being a founding member).

There's a lot of coverage about these bands and several other Nashville bands at Nashvillezine.com. If you want to know about anything cool going on in the scene here, you have a good chance of hearing about it there.

I also wanted to say that this was a great interview. I've pretty much heard it all before, but this was really well-executed and sounded very genuine. Matt and Rollum sounded extremely relaxed and talkative. Thanks for the link and great job!
