michael, i'm not trying to be annoying about this
but i would like my picture to be on the website.
i'm referring to the picture on the band section.
i'm sorry to post this but i know rory's busy with
plenty of other things. i was under the impression that the problem would be remedied before the site was up.

Rollum,

Your picture is on the site. In the 'The Band' section it shows all you guys. The only reason I could see that you might not see your picture is if your computer is running at a 640x480 resolution - and I designed the site to fit within an 800x600 size. I'm not sure if your computer supports this.. (I don't even know if you're on a PC or a Mac) but if you're on a PC.. right click on the desktop and goto Properties.. then goto Settings and there should be a bar that you can drag to the right to increase the available space on your screen.

If this continues to be an annoyance I can do a revamp of The Band page so the pictures are just along the top so there is no mis-representation. I apologize for any inconvience this may have caused.

Michael,

I think Rollum is referring to the problem you mentioned. Most people still have their computers set to 640x480. Because of the HTML code you used, there is no scroll bar to scroll down and Rollum's picture does not show on the band page. If you change your code to 'scrolling=yes', it will be fixed, but I suspect you knew that to build such a fancy page. Personally, I think it should be against the law to be on 640x480 except for people with glaucoma or tic tics with root beer on the inside for eyeballs (nine dentists prefer tic tics). Part of the word 'contact' is cut off on the bar as well.

Rollum could also be referring to the fact that he is well hidden in the picture. It took me a while to find him when I first saw it, but that's probably the way he wanted it. Who knows?

I wouldn't overhaul the site myself, but I'd add a notice on the front page that it's optimized for 800x600.
phases and stages, circles and cycles, scenes that we've all seen before, let me tell you some more

Well noted. I'll drop down to 800 and make sure everything fits and add a notice on the splash page.

I thought 800 was the default by this point.. there are some video cards now that won't even go down as far as 640.

Regardless I'll make sure it's tweaked.

Anyone else having any problems?
