Post 1 of 20
I own "The Beginning" EP and I have the MP3's of "Circus" "Dark Room" "See You Through" "Leave It All Behind" "Paid To Think" "Armani Suede" "Anti-Gravity Class of 93" "Exorcising Demons" "Kari Ann" "Thursday" & "Speed of 33 1/3."

Basically, if anyone has any live MP3s or some older recorded stuff or anything, I'd be interested in, I dunno, sharing or trading or something. I just need some more Features music!

Let's forget all this crap for a night and just go out and get hammered and listen to the music here and now. Who's with me? Where are people meeting in 12th and Porter? How about every body meet me at the bar. I'm 6'1", about 200 with blond hair and I'm 20-something years old. Look for me...I'm buying drinks, I'm arranging field trips.

PEACE!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Any chance that someone can send me "Leave it all behind" and "moonlight?" Ray, what else do you have? I have quite a bit of features stuff too, but most probably have it as well.

How would a homie like myself be able to get a hold of the mahaffey sessions and the First EP songs which I stupidly, (now hitting myself over the head left in florida.) For I am now in Nashville, which I just saw The Features play twice, and let me tell you, even though they didn't play Bumblebee or Hey Lou, twice just isn't enough times to see these guys. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to go to every show within a 200 mile radius.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

The stokes, the hives, the vines, the white strips, the next group to put the in front of their damn name has NUFFIN' on the features. FOR THE WERE THE the Original.

IM me at ThisLivingHand to correspond for MP3 trades. Straight.
Oh, and if you're in Nashville give me a holla, because i'm scouting the scene.

Thanks.

this is a great idea, somebody should compile all the early stuff(mahaffey sessions, First EP songs, and spoungebath samplers) and we should tree it out to all us newbies who don't have it.
if somebody complies the stuff i'd be happy to set up the tree

For some reason, there's a side of me definitely hesitant about giving out Features stuff that hasn't been released. After all, in each case, they decided NOT to release it for a reason. The first EP is nothing next to the Mississippi Album, which is also unreleased.

I know the band has never put a stop to us distributing on their message board, but it's never been something easy for me to do.

I understand your point, but in my case, I know I wouldn't be as big a fan that I am now if I hadn't stumbled across the MP3's that I did. I bought The Beginning EP and "wore it out" but it wasn't enough. I mean, two of those songs they next to never perform live and "Two By Two" is fading as well.

There are two sides: The band doesn't like the versions so I can see where it is wrong for us to spread them, BUT I believe that in order for the band to gain new fans or increase the love that older fans have of them, their most popular/most played material needs to be available. I plan on burning a CD for my friend who was introduced to them at the Boro on the 22nd so she can enjoy them 24/7.

If the album comes out, though, this will all be remedied.

i promise i'm not trying to be a bitch, but if you really believe that about not sharing music the band hasn't officially distributed, shouldn't you throw your discs away?

And Armani Suede, Mahaffey, I think. I have a copy of said disc, and those are the five on it.

When you say "handing out promo CD's," what do you mean? Were they giving them away at shows or just to acquaintances? We got ours from a young lady who said that Matt P. had given them to her. (She was working as a DJ at a UTK radio station, and she had them on her show.) Interestingly, though, the fifth song on the CD she was given was "33 1/3" instead of "Armani Suede."

No crow needs to be eaten right now.
You're right, I did get my stuff from other fans.

I guess I prefer trading, and giving away stuff hurts trading.
However, I've been given things and appreciate them.

So, therefore, I'm a hypocrite.

I do have recordings no one else has, but I don't have the equipment to be as nice as Blightman and do B&P, so I usually have to keep quiet about it.

Besides, if you gave away your stuff, you couldn't say "recordings exist" as smugly as you do now.
