so i just had the pleasure of viewing parrish's segment. that guy rules.
why?
here's why...
...he can fix my car
...he says mother fucker all the time
...he smokes more than i do (but don't all of the features)
...he owns me on the keys
...he says mother fucker all the time
...he looks like a character from treasure island
...he's mad stoned in that video
...he's from sparta, tn (as if you couldn't tell from the clip)
...he says mother fucker all the time

also, what was that music in the background? i'm sure it was the features, but i couldn't place the song(s). it sounded like them jamming...do the features jam?
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

I, too, just watched the video. God, I love him, too. I can relate to the use of the term 'mother fucker'. It is one of my favorite words when I get mad. Plus, I did the Bob Villa meets an auto mechanic thing.
I was listening to the background music too, and it was mostly instrumental. So, what was it guys?

an old song called 'blitzkreig!'. it was one of the first songs the band wrote after taylor and sergio left. the recording also features jim 'blisterfingers' o'shea of my tyger fame.

Didn't Jim O'Shea temporarily replace Don? Maybe someday they'll make a movie about him called The Seventh Feature.

After going to so many shows, I tend to see the band as glamorous rock stars. This, however, reminded me that they're good ol' boys from Sparta. My favorite part was when he had to seek more torque.

Do you have a Quick Time player? I think you have to have one to watch the clip.

You do need Quicktime installed. If you see a quicktime player launch but the video still won't play, there could be a problem with your internet connection and our server.

I'm about to re-do the stream anyway. I'm going to create two separate movie files, one for high quality (dsl/cable) and low quality (dial-up) users. Perhaps after this switch it'll work for you. Right now the server is delivering a single stream that is suppose to be able to detect your connection speed. This does not always work.

Could we also have a downloadable version?

Tom,

We're about to change the way you stream it. You will soon go to a Video page which will have a link which you should be able to right click on and SAVE TARGET AS to download to your computer. I'll double check this when I make the switch.

Is there any way you can put it on DVD and sell it at shows? I would pay top dollar, especially if there was commentary by Parrish and the director, outtakes, and perhaps some Easter Eggs.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

I'll propose the idea to Rory and Matt. In the end there'll be a number of these videos, including some really short random ones as well as the more structured ones like Parrish's and the one I'm finishing up that features Roger.

Who needs all of that? I'm dumb enough to pay top dollar for a DVD-sized, round piece of paper if it said 'The Features' on it.

A Features DVD, I would pay ANY price. I would make everyone at any parties that we have sit down and watch it at some point during the night. It would be more popular than Jesco, I'm sure.
