Hey guys, if you want to see another site the Features have created, you can go to www.purevolume.com/thefeatures. They're working on it, so be patient - I think. Yes, that's right.

Didn't you read the guy's signature? He's obviously talked with Matt Pelham before so of course each and every member of the band is intimately involved with the creation of that web site.

"By the way, have you guys even visited the site? I don't think you'd be dissing it if you actually had. It's really pretty cool. I mean, you can totally tell that the band was involved in the creation process. It just screams 'we're the features!' god, i'm kind of thirsty. i wonder if anyone has any water...?" - Me

I don't see how it's any different than their already popular myspace site....

Thanks for helping out and volunteering your time, Matthew. Meeks told me you'll be helping out with the internet stuff.

I'm sure the band appreciates it, even if the holier-than-thou, bitch-rather-than-contribute folks who post here don't.

And you guys wonder why this board has been so dead lately...

I wasn't trying to be "holier-than-thou" I just honestly don't see how this is better than myspace. I'm really not into the music scene, to the extent of many here, and so perhaps I'm wrong?

Thanks Carl. I didn't know helping the guys out would mean rolling around in land mines with the fans. I consider myself a fan, albeit I was not introduced to the Features until September 13, 2004. I've taken to memorizing all the older stuff - and I respect the path this band has taken to get to where they are. Personally, I'm excited about helping this band out - they're on their way up, and hardcore fans like us are lucky to be involved before they start playing stuff like Starwood, Madison Square, etc. I hope that you guys will help me out as far as input and where these sites need to go. It's people like us who know what we want to see. Thanks.

Some people really don't have anything better to do than just sit around a bitch and moan. You know, I was just gonna drop it, but some people are just pathetic. How about this, forget who's doing the site, and just support the band you claim to enjoy. Grow up already.

In case you haven't visited the purevolume page lately, The Features have added 4 songs, including a live version of their classic Temporary Blues. You don't even need to register to listen!

Features on Purevolume

Thanks for getting this going, Matthew.

That's a cool pic. From what show does this version of Temporary Blues come? I don't really remember the old way they played it, but I'm guessing this is it.

It sounds like the 5-2-02 the boro show. I like the way they play it now better (though it's not really that different).

No, I think its the 8-24-02 show at 12th and Porter.

And I'm kinda fond of the old way. Although, many are the days I find myself at work singing ".....I wanna goooo home...."
remember that its all in your head.

That was the second Features show that I went to (the first being in April), and I was completely hooked after that.

And, like Carl said, thanks Matthew.

Thank YOU, guys. I would really like more fan input as to what would be good for these other sites. Essentially, I want direction and material, as well as a framework from Meeks, other ideas from the band, and still more ideas from guys like us who watch these boards religiously.

I agree, in the interest of full disclosure - and since you guys brought it up and not me - I guess I should explain myself a little. I'm 19, I go to MTSU, I help the Features out a little, and I'm running for County Commissioner. Sure, helping the Features out is a great hobby (which will pick up quickly with the second album release), but my career looks like it is going to be in politics. The CC stands for County Commissioner.
