Wow that was great. First of all, I have never ever heard "Circus" so clear! That alone makes it great! Secondly, was that filmed either A. Near a Wal-Mart or B. in Smyrna? The crazy civilians hint at one or the other....or the dreaded combo of the two. Anyway that was great.

I was wondering the same thing, TF. I would have been bragging about it if I were one of them.
Anyway, the videos are appreciated. Thanks a ton Brian and the band!

Don't you suppose that was from their Chatanooga fair show?

I, too, thought that they were at a Wal-Mart. God, that was so funny. I hope more movies like this get posted.......

What was that tiny little clip of Stagecoach from at the end of the video? The "Rawlings" recordings? In any case, I've never heard it- can someone post it on the mp3 site?

The music for this piece, and I believe Parrish's engine piece, came from a CD given to me by Parrish. They're all musical numbers (no vocals). I'm not sure if they would want it up on the mp3 site.

Brian Carter sessions? Say what?

Anyone know either when these went down or what was recorded? I'm not looking for them, per-say (love to have them), I'm trying to perfect my Features' recording history.

I would guess that it's a bit difficult to get a complete list.

As someone much wiser than I once said,

Compiling a list of their songs would be such a laborious task that I don't think the Features themselves could finish it.  I'd estimate they have well over 100 songs recorded/performed here and there (and probably 2-10 versions of each) plus many untitled compositions.  Those lucky enough to have some outtakes (especially the mid 90s stuff) will probably not want to share (probably at the request of the Features).  However, it is inevitable that more bootlegs will eventually turn up one way or another.

1998 or 1999. The Features (current lineup) featuring Jim O'Shea on lead guitar. I have heard this, but it's been a long, long time. These sessions were never finished, I believe (no vocals).
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

By Feb 1999, they were a 4-piece with no Jim, so it was most likely 1998.

Who was on drums? Anyone?

As with the Potential Covers Thread, I sometimes just randomly read the ones at the bottom, and then discover I missed the last thing added to it. I haven't seen this board since Thursday, and so I find I've missed a lot.
