Three words: God Damn Hillarious, yet another stellar video download from the band.

My favorite moment: rollum doing "kari-ann", that was priceless.

runners up for favorite moment: the kids in the hall theme, as well as rollum's axl impersonation.

and yes, rollum...it is hard to play guitar standing up.

Bravo, BrianW for providing more great videos for us to drool over.

As I was watching that, the bass line and the guitar part sounded like early REM and that's what I thought it was until after I stepped away from the computer a minute later and, bam, it hit me that it was the Kids in the Hall theme. That was priceless and totally random. Very very nice.

And hey, if Matt ever loses his voice during a show, we all now know that Rollum can step up and give the Features some twang.

Thanks guys. It's very simple on my part -- I just have to aim the camera. More to come...

Now that we know about his vocal powers, Rollum deserves a mic!

It reminded me of the moment in "Let It Be" when George is helping Ringo write Octopus's Garden."

It's only a matter of time before Rollum starts writing songs and the whole band takes a step closer to being the Beatles.

Hate to say it, but Nashville IS just another notch in the bedpost. It's hard for a band like the Features to break through when country-pop is the main export, and all you see are billboards for Toby Keith or whatever. Screw Nashville.

yeah i know, that's why i said it. most everyone else considers nashville that way, but at least the features are from here and play here often. i was saying that it may just become that way to them too if they get really big. i mean, when they get really big. but i think they are dedicated to their fans and they won't leave us behind....... hmm. laugh.gif
maybe i could sing along
to your neverending songs,
i'm just looking for some fun

Nashville is better than Sparta.

I've never even heard rumors that the Features would join their Spongebath friends in LA. I question at this point how much good it did those guys to leave. Matt Mahaffey has his hands in all kinds of things while Self seems to sit on the shelf. The Katies and Fluid Ounces have produced no real news since leaving here.

If this Features show does what I think is its intended purpose, they may out-shine those other guys even though they stayed on the East Side. Who knows? I'm thinking this Bowl of Fire tour this fall has definitely been a good thing.
