TOPIC: Rollum on 88.3 WMTS Today
Posted  Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 2:04 PM
Post 1 of 34
Tune into The Modern World today because Rollum will be on the show! It's from 4-6pm on 88.3 WMTS. There will be one hour of Features music followed by one hour of whatever the hell Rollum wants to play. If you can't listen to it in your car or at work (or if you are out of signal distance), you can listen to it here LIVE!

it would also be nice if someone could possibly record this somehow.....

TUNE IN!!!!

Damnit. I go to work at 4:30. sad.gif

Why don't you get a couple blank CD-R's to use for the CD recorder? (if you need someone to show you how to use it, I can)

Wow, with a whole hour of Features songs, I would imagine you would be likely to hear some of the NEW material. Possibly.

Probably. Or it could be that I had to go back to work, therefore I had to stop listening. Or I could have been annoyed by how giggly and akward Mr Paulson was on the air. Or I could just be keeping the spirit of the long deceased Green Lantern alive.

Any enjoyment I've taken from Silent Friction was/is a function of my abnormal sexual attraction to Matt Bell. I think I've made that clear on numerous occasions.

I like arguments that remind me of the good old days. Other bands from that era that can be dissed and argued over:

The Sneaky Eaters/The Vinyl Solution, Slack (late '90s era), Jambon, Candy Stand Blues Band, Soul Surgeon, Red Herring, Cory Bruce, Native, Crap-- what was that hippe band from "the farm" called?, Yellow 5, The Dahlia Llamas, Red Shift, Mariposa, The Obscure, The Carter Administration (again, late 90s era), Welcome Lane...I could go on and on, but none of you know what I'm talking about anyway. I'm just being all nostalgic and shit.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

how can i let a thread with lots of esposito comments go by without me jumping in??

but i just realized there's really not anything else to add. except they were only like, the best-local-band-besides-the-features-ever. if anyone wants to discuss esposito, i'm the one to talk to. because we all know dave doesn't want to.
right you are, ken!

I'm currently reading...The Bhagavad Gita
I'm reading that too!

Concerning the other topics at hand:

-I only saw Esposito a couple of times, but I really liked them. I still have the mp3s that I downloaded from their old website. At Privates shows, I've found myself wondering if the Privates would ever play an Esposito song or two.

-I liked Silent Friction, too.

-Native...huh huh. I think that Mile 8 evolved from Native.

-What really ever happened to the Dalai Llamas? At first, I was not a fan, but in the later days, I thought they were really good.
