Wow, dude, that's a pretty shady way to get rid of your EP. It's one thing to get the guys to sign your CD so you can sell it for a profit on eBay-- it's another thing to pretend like you're buying it just to advertise your auction.

I would almost classify this as spam, but because some folks here might be interested, I'll leave it up.

Not to beat up on the guy, but it's funny that the auction tag says "KOL support band," as if that were going to catch anybody's eye.

Does anyone know why the official name of that show is "CSI:"? What's with the extra punctuation?

I thought the official title was "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

I TOTALLY AGREE!

That's true, but when they shorten it in ads, they leave the colon tacked on. It's really annoying.

Seriously, I've bid on it. I've only got a copy of the beginning off my best mate, so I wanted a copy of my own. I've got a T-Shirt that I got signed by Matt at a gig they did in Wolverhampton so I'll know if the signature is real. Either way i reckon it's worth a tenner!

No one here should give that guy money...ever. Now his mission is accomplished, and the ridicule he received is now moot.

I only left the thread up because, despite the shadiness of the situation, I thought some fans would be interested in the auction. Yes, the stunt he pulled (pun intended) was dishonest and he probably shouldn't benefit financially from the band, but if the CD ends up in the hands of someone who appreciates it and acquires it for what he/she feels is a reasonable price, then I'm happy.
