Okay, I'm really bored, so I decided to see exactly how long it's been since The Features played Someway, Somehow. BrianW mentioned something about it on another topic and I started worrying that we had seen the end of this fantastic song. Apparently it's been almost exacly one month since they played it (Oct. 19th). Now that may not seem like a lot, but they've played 9 SHOWS since then. Granted, many of those shows were short sets, but I'm still quite concerned.

I guess I wanted to start an online petition to ensure that this song remains in heavy rotation. Is this one slated for the new album? Man, I hope so!

Other people can speak more intelligently on this than me, but during rehearsals for the LA trip they went over "Someway, Somehow" several times. There is some technical issue with it in Parrish's keyboard part that is tough to play live. During the bridge there is a switch from the synths to the electric piano that was giving Parrish some sort of fits. My untrained ear couldn't hear what they were talking about, but they ran over that part several times. It all sounded good to me. This may be why its not played live very often. Its one of my favorite songs as well, and actually I'm playing around with it for the title of the documentary.

I have faith that Parrsih can conquer the part and that the song will come back into heavy rotation. Just give it time.
