TOPIC: The Age of a Features fan

Ok, please indulge my curiosity and forgive me for being a nerd. But I've always wondered what age group best represents The Features' audience. I'll start by saying that I fall into the "25-29" category.

In addition to saying it, why didn't you also vote it?

I cheated, voting a little ahead of myself, but its only a couple more months, so I figured for posterity's sake...

I've been in the 18-20 category for six months now. I still have a long way to go until I'm in the next bunch. Ah well, I value my youth. I may be losing hair (and it's been turning grey for the last two years), I have the athletic ability of a 73 year old woman and as tall as one...yes I value my youth.

as most of you know because you have heard me complain...i'm 20 years old. i have just about 6 months to go until i can attend 21+. then after that all the great mysteries of youth will have been unravelled and there will be nothing else to look forward too in my youth.
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

19... I have about 1.5 years to go before I can get into the 21+ shows, and I'm younger than some friends of mine...so, I'll be very upset and jealous when they get to go to 21+ shows without me less than a year from now.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

At 27, I think I'm the old man of the group... unless khatula is still reading this.

P.S. I don't normally compliment people on their avatars. They're all usually very good. However, HaveSomeSoma, I think your Amélie avatar is gorgeous!

I'm 19, so I fall into that 18-20 category.
And, I was going to comment on HaveSomeSoma's avatar as well. It's great.

I would think the fan base would fall most in the early-mid 20's range, with some skewing on both sides (mostly to the young side though, as up-and-coming music tends to do).

I'm 25 myself. And I think The Features have a sound that'd hit that 18-34 demo that many advertisers crave...

That was my guess. Mainly I was curious as to what demographic a label would promote our Features to.
Ahh... the sick mind of an advertising professional...

Well, the results seem pretty squarely 18-29, with only a single exception thus far (sorry Rachel, what can we say, you're ahead of your time tongue.gif ).

Now the real question isn't who a label would market them to, but why they haven't picked them up yet. The band just gets better and better with each passing show.

And to skew the statistics a bit, my 52 and 51 year old parents both insisted that I make them Features mix cds.

bell shaped curves are wondereful. order among choas.
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.
