Picked up the album today. I was saddened that it wasn't involved in any promotional displays, but they had five copies of it, which was at least something.

Loving the features goodness at the moment. I'm so happy that Darkroom and Kari-Ann are on the record, as they're two of my all-time favourites.

Inlay is weird... camels? Blimey!

All in all...

YAY~!
...and this ain't one of them...

This may have already been covered, but what do the bonus songs sound like? They're not the Mahaffey versions, are they?

Either way, I'm buying a copy.

I believe they were recorded with the one and only Brian Carter this January. Although I've been known to do lots of smack, so take that with a poppy blossom.

The Friday after Keith ever-so-generously posted the entire Grimey's bootleg, which was either the first or second Friday in February, SexySadie, IWantElvis and myself (Digsy) played the entire bootleg on our radio show on WMTS (88.3). Matt Pelham called to thank us and said that he and Parrish were driving to the studio to record "Dark Room" and "Kari-Ann" for the UK release. He also said they were flipping, heard the bootleg, and said "What the hell is this...?" One of the funnier Pelhamisms.

i'm so jealous.

.....any word on if we might get a chance at hearing them (legally, without importing the cd) on this side of the atlantic?

i'd say an itunes EP is in order.

I got my copy asap on monday and checked HMV, Virgin and Music Zone to see if it was being promoted (I don't have much to do on my lunch break)...muchos disappointed, but there were many copies available....

Checked again today (tuesday) and all the copies were gone in Music Zone, and that didnt include mine! Which I got from HMV because I needed to buy my brother a present and I get graduate discount...you probably dont need to know that.....

I am going to do my own promotional work by moving the cd's to the front of the F section! Risky I know. And maybe to the end of a plinth (spelling?). Dead chuffed it had the bonus tracks cause I already had the import version.

I do that, too! I have been known to put it in front of something crappy but popular (like Ashlee Simpson) just so some teeny bopper might go "what is this???"

iTunes has 30 sec clips of the "new" songs that you can listen to if you switch countries, but you can't buy the songs unless your billing address is in the UK. The songs sound great, but the short clips are kind of a cock tease. I guess I'm gonna have to import the album (cover art is better anyway).

Was about to launch my own PR campain by moving the Features albums to prime plinth real estate in Virgin as previously mentioned, only to be beaten by the store itself!! Same goes in HMV where they sit on a new music stand. Need a new plan....

In Virgin it was on the 'Virgin Recommends' plinth, which is good as people tend to gawp at this section for inspiration, and in HMV it was just on the New Music plinth (haven't used that word ever, but seem to be getting my monies worth out of it now...)

An entire Features stand maybe too much to ask...I will try and rustle something up tonight and sneak it in tomorrow lunch time..hehehe...

i got their album today..i managed to win it off of the radio..I simply emailed my local radio station, said id seen the guys oniday and met them nd teat they were brilliant guys and played excellent. So the dj emailed back saying i could have their british version of the album(already have the american version)...so yeah got it to day...included was a cheesy pic of the DJ and his signature..think ill give that to a friend, or pin it on my door to scare the burglars away...

yeah, and the bloody djs tarnished the album anyway..he signed the inside his self.. sad.gif

Hilarious!

It's a pain that they took so long to release Exhibit A. I bought it in America in December... and now my boyfriend has just received a review copy of the UK version from Amazon. I feel a bit bad not buying it again, but I'm not made of money (not when I'm flying to America to get the album, anyway).

The Features has sold out on Play.com.....
More specifically, the American version is sold out and the UK version is temporarily out of stock. Does this mean they're selling lot hotcakes, or play.com didn't stock enough? I hope it's the former.

And what's up with the American version being cheaper than the UK version?

The UK version has two more songs on it. Plus, they hate Americans.
remember that its all in your head.
