TOPIC: The Features on Grouper

This is would be a very easy way for users on this board to share Features bootlegs etc. Since a lot of people have started sharing live shows and such on the board recently, I decided to start looking into to private clients such as this. I think this is much easier and more user friendly than running a HUB on DC++. If a bunch of people on this board start using this, it can reduce the number of newbs hassling people for shows and eliminates the hardware as by doing B&P's.

So, what is Grouper?
Grouper connects you directly to your friend's PC, other people in the group, for easy downloading or streaming of large files.

Where do I get Grouper?
http://www.grouper.com/

How do I join The Features Group?
http://grouper.com/groups/?id=94093

The only problem I find with this software is I think that it blocks the sharing of mp3's in order to avoid suits. However converting to different formats is easy, especially if you use ITunes. I recomend converting to AAC.

Once again, if this gets off the ground I think it would be a better, more efficient way of sharing Features bootlegs. However, order for this to work the people that need to join are the one's with the most bootlegs. So what is everyone's opinion of using this, and would they use this?

I'd try it, assuming all you freaks don't get direct access to all my other TOP SECRET files.

You get to pick which folders etc. are accessible to the group, so even your porn and bomb maps would be safe...wait...what?

Sounds pretty complicated to me. I'll just keep my Thunder '94 performance from 97 to myself.
Daigle is all we need to make the night complete
