TOPIC: The Features on WRLT

Post 1 of 9
WRLT 100.1 (Lightning 100) will have Matt and Rollum on air from noon to 1pm (central) tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 16th). DJ Dan Buckley will be interviewing them about the new record and they'll be taking requests from listeners.

Even better, for those who can't make it to the show this Saturday at the Mercy Lounge, WRLT will be broadcasting The Features' set live! Unfortunately, the same can not be said of the openers (sorry, Privates and HIBTB fans). Look for that to happen around 11 or midnight.

EDIT: I initially posted that the station has an online stream, but it appears that I was mistaken.

Where do you see that it can be heard online? I couldn't find that feature on their site. I would be very happy to actually hear the Features again.

I was under the impression that the station had an online stream, but that doesn't appear to be the case. my apologies. I'm going to correct the post now. Thanks for pointing that out, JW. Looks like you and I will have to miss it sad.gif

I heard about 5 minutes of it. It turned out it was Matt and Roger. They played Me & The Skirts and Blow It Out from the record, and Roger played some Stones. Matt played something too, but I can't remember what it was. They talked about Myspace. Matt: "I don't really know what it is, but I hear it's great, especially for bands." They talked a bit about the origins of the band. Nothing earth shattering, but again, I missed the majority of the interview.

Edit: Oh yeah, it was some Wings song that Pelham played.

Hmmm, I wonder which one.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?
