TOPIC: the features should play with beulah at slow bar

i believe that we (the members of the features message board) should DEMAND that our beloved features play with beulah at slow bar on april 24. the features would benefit from this performance greatly, mainly due to the fact that they would be playing to people who would really dig their music. let's face it, if a person like beulah, i'm willing to bet that they would enjoy the features as well. I know this may just be wishful thinking, but, hell, it's worth a shot.

i don't know that i would go so far as to petition them, but the idea is a good one. keep up the brainstorming.
We'll miss you Mr. Hooper.

as mentioned in an earlier thread, the features should headline this show. the features can sell out slow bar no problem. beulah would be the benefactors on this night.
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

i never once mentioned in my original post that the features should open for beulah. i just said they should play with them. the owners of slow bar can decide the running order.

How bout everyone who runs into Grimey in the next few weeks makes that suggestion. You can also email him at mike@slowbar.com. Or is more productive to work on the Beulah side of things?

i see a problem in that both the features and beulah are known to cover psycho killer at shows, but i suppose one band could call 'dibbs.' i gotta say though, while good bands frequent slow bar, i think the venue fucking sucks as far as sound goes, and you have to be one of the lucky three people that fit in that little front area if you wanna see anything. what am i talking about though, if the features played there i'd be there.

instead of calling dibs, they could collaborate.
