I guess you could stand outside the fence with all of the others. Are you really underage?

It's an 18 and over event.

Mwah!

And I'll be 20 on September first, which does absolutely no good.
That's so NA.

unfortunately, i was pantless at the time. there was a great deal of squeegying involved...but i've cleaned up the mess and now i'm very happy about this, indeed. hooray!

it turns out, spineless vermin brad schmitt will live to schmooze another day. i guess it just goes to show you can't be wrong all of the time. but i, taking a page out of his (i-can-read) book, digress.

i saw the spree last year in louisville...you simply MUST go and see them. i'm not one for full-on dancing at shows, normally, but by the end of their set i was so enraptured i was dancing all over the place. their energy was just infectious...it was so good, in fact, the crowd almost would not let them leave after a lengthy encore. it was ridiculous. i couldn't get enough of it...i was completely sober also--i had only had a couple of beers, if i remember correctly, cos i had to drive us back to nashville after the show. i don't know if an uptown mix show can possibly live up to the bliss that enveloped that small venue that night, but if it's anywhere close it'll be great.

methinks my car shalt mysteriously break down on that day-- thus preventing me from being able to make it in to work.... wink.gif

I'd pay more than that to hear either act. I'm very stoked about this show!

By the way, advance tickets are $7 if you buy them online, but I guess they're only available the week before the show.

Or you can buy a season pass for the whole 12-show series for the low low price of $84! WTF! Why commit to going to every single crappy show if you're not going to save money? Do they not understand the concept of season tckets? Well, at least you can get two for $168. blink.gif

So do bands have to rent a "space" to practice? Are there special places designed specifically for practice sessions? And why would a band that has all their equipment need to rent-a-space (assuming that they do indeed pay for it) I've said it before on here, but I'm not really in the know when it comes to the music biz.

basically it's like renting a room in a warehouse (or wherever) with no neighbors next door to get pissed off that you're being so loud.
