I first heard of the Features in 1998, hanging out in Murfreesboro with my friends at MTSU, they were a local band at the time, with all the others, Self, the Katies, Fl.Oz. and the Friendlies (does anybody remember them??!). Ive been waiting for someone from that "crowd" to make it big and Im so happy the Features have done it! Im going to see them in Glasgow on the 12th April, so guys if you're reading this get ready to play some old skool just for me!! hee hee im so excited!!!

annapea,
I just saw The Features on Friday, April 1 in Nashville. They were the headliners with Fluid Ounces and Slack as the opening bands. The show was fantastic!!! The crowd was wild and seemed to be many of the old fans like yourself. I am new to The Features and had a great time, it was only my second time seeing them live. I hope you get their new CD 'Exhibit A', it is great and I know you will love it. I talked to the band after the show and they are looking forward to the UK shows as well as the European dates. I am sure they would love to see you at the show and shout for you favorites, they do requests, it seems. Be sure to spread the word to all your friends! There are many Features fans out there just waiting to be turned on!!!

Enjoy the show and post a review so we can all see how the tour is going!

yes, I'll have the dada2go please

If your happy and you know it turn the volume up and blow it out!

Here's a tip: to increase your odds of getting your request, look at what they played friday and try one of those. Those seem to be most of the older songs they're prepared to play. Matt made a comment at the end about how they were running out of songs to play.

Definitely let everyone know what you thought about the show. It's cool you've been converting people with Features music.

The Friendlies? I don't remember them. Who was in that band? I'm used to the bands that came out on the samplers. The Friendlies must have came out after I stepped away from the scene.

Rock on

Hi Freddy
Was just kidding about the Friendlies.... they were around on the scene at the time, and I was dating the drummer and close friends with the singer, but they werent on any of the Spongebath Samplers... theyre just ver close to my heart.
sorry to disappoint!!

No disappointment. Maybe some confusion, but no disappointment. I am jealous that you get to see them in Glasgow. That would be really cool and I imagine it would truly make it seem like a small world after all.
