There are only a handful of Thursday 10" left, so if you've been waiting to pick one up, you must act now! There are NO plans to reprint, so this will be your final chance. Please visit the MERCH page for the 10" info and to purchase.

I have been asking myself if I should buy another one. Hmmm...

I remember hurrying to get one in '99 to make sure that it didn't sell out. How many were pressed?

I hate how the Features store doesn't let you use your credit card in Paypal, and makes you use whatever's in your Paypal account. That's a hassle...

Anyway, I don't wanna miss out on this, so I might just have to send a money order or something...

Folks, we're sold out! You all responded very quickly and grabbed up the last remaining copies. Thank you so much!

I thought of buying one, but I don't have a working record player, so what's the point?
That's so NA.

In a few years, you'll be able to sell it on eBay for $150. That's not a bad investment

I'm actually glad that this particular piece of Features history isn't available anymore. Stuff that old should be out of print. And who knows? Maybe it will inspire them to maybe put out some other little goody similar to that...maybe another 7" vinyl.

I still don't understand how something's rarity makes it better.

In this case, I'm not so sure it's about rarity. "Thursday" is certainly a great song, but the Features have come a long way since then. They have a different line up now as well. It's time to take this one off the market.

At this point in their career, I don't think they should be winning fans at shows and then selling them something that is so un-representative of their sound.

Just to play devil's advocate, though, they do still end most every show with "Thursday," so I wouldn't say it's dead and buried in the Features' eyes.

Personally I'd love to see it close their 2nd album, only re-recorded to sound like it it played now. The Mississippi/Dortch stuff represents them at such a different point that it's like a different band.

I was almost sure someone would say something about their "sound," and as JC said, the do play Thursday at almost every show. It does sound different than the recording, I'll give you that.

But just because bands change and evolve, though, doesn't mean the past should be forgotten. It would suck if every band that changed lineup or altered their "sound" quit selling their pervious material.

Of course, I respect the band/management's decision. I just think it's an "aww" event rather than a "yay."

I also think of it as kind of a good thing that a limited pressing such as this that was pressed in 1999 has gone out of print after being available at shows for forever. I can almost guarantee that they didn't make 1,000 of them, and so it's kind of a shame that it took this long for it to sell out. The original EP was gone faster than that (and yes, vinyl is harder to sell than CDs, but...) I can say, "Yay!" because they all should have been sold a couple of years ago. If the band wanted to keep pressing it, more power to them. I can honestly say I'd rather them do that than select certain songs for the 1st American single...

I think there might also be the problem of no longer having the ability to make more pressings. Some things are lost to the passing of time...

Are there any rights ownership issues? Didn't Spongebath put out the 10"? Did the band get all the rights to it when the label went under?

I think there's still an issue there with Spongebath, but it's more to do with no longer having the masters.

Yeah, I don't think any of the SB bands got the rights to their music back/
