I should have some photos for you all of the show on Friday.
Yes, I'm pretty excited.
When I was about 20 we (the now defunct Pop Roxy) played a show with The Features at the Boro. They used to have a guy with afro hair in the band- back in the day. He made fun of my amp.
I still thought they were good.
So now 10 years later...no afro...just culmination.
The Features are more than just a good band to me, they remind me of friends that I may never see again. All of us on the dance floor...now gone, off across the continent, married and reclusive.
We used to really know how to do it back then.
It was less about the cool, even less about school...there used to be a real rock community in the Boro. It was tight.
Anyways, I'll stop my blabbering and begin my presentation for my American Satire class- so I can attend the show with a clean conscience.

I think most people would agree that they are at the top of their game right now. Chances are, you'll enjoy this show even more than you think you will.

I believe she's talking more about the fans than the band. Of course, how she knows this from such a distance, I'm not sure. I guess liking them first will always make one cooler.
Daigle is all we need to make the night complete

Hmmm. Cariliqula...I'm no elitest. I don't know how to do the quote things y'all do, but you said, "I guess liking them first is always cooler." I detected a tinge of reproof there. To tell you the truth, what I was really thinking about was (you are right) the "fan base" which used to be about 30 people, all of which I personally knew, so the shows were like big parties. There was room to dance, I used to be the only one dancing at times. I guess I get melancholy for this period of my life alot, being that I am supoose to be a grown up now. I miss all the people I used to go to shows with cause A) most of them don't live in Tn. anymore and cool.gif I don't live in Tn. anymore.
Q: How will I function without Sina to spike my drink tonight?
