It's been a while since we last discussed our top 5 favorite Features songs and since then I've been introduced to a plethora of new Features material and I'm sure that everyone else's top 5 have changed. Of course, I can't fit all my favorite Features songs into 5 spots so I've expanded this to a Top 10 list. Here is mine.

1. Leave It All Behind
2. The Beginning
3. Dark Room
4. Circus
5. God Save Rock & Roll
6. See You Through
7. Oh My Love
8. The Idea Of Growing Old
9. Buffalo Head
10. The Damage Is Done
11. Walk You Home
12. Blow It Out

Gosh snapit I can't even do just 10. Okay well, that's how my list has changed since the end of July when we last discussed this. Sharing is caring. smile.gif

(in alphabetical order)

Action
Buffalo Head
Circus
Harold
Idea of Growing Old
Leave It All Behind
See You Through
Someway, Somehow
Thursday
Your Smile

Honorable Mentions: Bring on the Night, The Design, Don't Lie to Me, God Save Rock 'n' Roll, Look Out Below, Two by Two

I think that'd be it. As you can see the new stuff has really taken a liking to me (or the other way round).

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

Jeez...it's hard...TODAY, I guess it would be (in no particular order):

Temporary Blues
Leave It All Behind
Don't Lie to Me
Harold
Burma
Circus
Your Smile
Disco
God Save Rock'n'Roll
Bring On the Night

I suppose I have a soft spot in my heart for ones that don't get played very often. If I heard alot of these at every show, they probably would not be so special to me.

Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Like JC, this is TODAY's list, but it is in order. Dark Room, Harold, Bring On The Night, The Idea of Growing Old, Serious, The Beginning and probably some others could end up on the list on any given day.

1. Action
2. God Save Rock and Roll
3. Buffalohead
4. Leave It All Behind
5. Circus
6. Exorcising Demons
7. Oh My Love
8. Stagecoach
9. Bumblebee
10. Walk You Home
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Geez, I so forgot Temporary Blues. I have just started loving that song and I didn't expect to ever hear it live and then on Friday...oh some glorious person yelled for it and Rollum gave it the nod, point and "YES."

Great. Bloody great.

Ah yes, Me and the Skirts has so much potential in my book. As soon as I get my hands on some version of it...ahh.

Any song where both Parrish and Rollum add backing vocals is grade A in my book.

Ditto. I'm really amazed at how awesome their new stuff is. It has dominated my head, my stereo, and my top 10 list. I really cannot wait how these songs sound in the studio.
