TOPIC: TTWIMTB UK Single

I got my WIMTB single from the UK yesterday in the mail (with a new version of Someway, Somehow and the single version of Buffalohead). I can't say that I'm too ecstatic about the new version of Someway, Somehow. The guitar is a bit more distorted than I expected, and the keyboards seem to be a bit modified from the versions we are used to (you'll understand what I mean when you hear it). That's not to say that it is a BAD song...it would just take some getting used to. I'm curious as to whether this will remain a B-side or if it's going to make the album...

Someway Somehow bothered me at first, but It really grew on me. By the end of the song, you can definitely hear the organ like we are used to hearing it.

I haven't heard the "new" version of buffalohead. does it sound any different than the one that was released a while back???

I'm pretty certain this is the old version of Buffalohead. It was recorded and mixed by a different person than the other two songs, and I'm fairly certain this is the same song as the version on the 45".

I have to say that the version of TTWIMTB in question sounds the way it's meant to be. I fucking love it.

Of course. But the secret is just throwing a line like that out and seeing if you get any bites. It's just like fishing. Yep...any minute now my mailbox will start filling up with mail. Any minute now.... Yep Yep. Any minute. There's one from Sina now. Works like a charm.

Whoa. This is a rerecorded Someway, Somehow? Not the Krampf version from the website player?

Damn the UK for making me buy their cds even though the bands hail from this country...

I don't have the Krampf version of "Someway, Somehow", just a poor quality live version I found on Soulseek.

However, I must say that I think the version of the song on the UK Single is excellent, and gives a great indication of their style.
