If you don't want to be early at all, 10-10:30 is about the safest best, unless you don't want to see the opener, in which case you should aim more for 11:30.

Oh what I'd do for a FAQ thread...

I think I've decided I'm not going to this show. Last time I saw The Features at Wall Street, I was pretty sure I was going to die.

are you serious? that's exactly the reason why i'm looking forward to it so much! it's like seeing the features while playing on a huge trampoline with all your friends (and the rest of the town). just don't stand near the PA's. and i'll lend you my parachute in case the floor gives in.

however, if people do die on saturday, i just want you guys to know that i've really treasured the years i've spent on this messageboard. and that i've always hated damon. what a jerk.

Wow, the other reason I think I'm not going is because I don't want to drive from Nashville.

Maybe I will.

But HSS, don't you remember the fucking heat? 300 bodies packed like sardines in that teeny little room? It was disgusting.

How many opening bands are on the bill? I'm coming straight from a Predators game, and I don't want to miss the Features!

Is Wall Street ever 21+? I don't think they can get away with that in Murfreesboro.

I believe they take the IDs of minors and "X" their hands. They get the IDs on the way out if they can prove they didn't wash their hands.

So, bring those black sharpies, kids!

You're absolutely right. I'm working on getting a direct answer from management. When I do, CarlW will let you know.

i just called wallstreet and they said it was 18 and older but they limit how many minors they let in. this sucks though because my sister is 17... :X

do you think they'd have pity and let her in if we drove 10 hours and got there super early????

Does anyone have any info (CarlW) if there is any pre-sale of tickets to this show? I have no clue what kind of draw it is going to bring but I also have out of town people coming for it so I'd like some reassurance.

Besides The Rarities and The All Request shows, Wall$treet has contained some of my favorite features moments.

all they said on the phone was that you pay at the door / $7-10. there was no mention of a pre-sale.

Drinking with the X's never stopped me. They are pretty careless, especially upstairs.

I doubt they would let in anyone under 18 unless u had a fake.

I don't recall them ever actually selling tickets there either. Usually just pay at the door, I'm assuming $10 for under 21 and $7 21+.

tip 1: the last few times i've been to wallstreet i've noticed that they were checking id's very closely, as far as matching pictures with faces goes. so if you have a fake, watch out.

tip 2: i've also noticed that once you get in, though, that things are not very strict. especially upstairs (as someone already mentioned) and especially if they're really busy.

The 21+ indication on the main page was a mistake. Our apologies. The concert info thread has been updated to include this as well as other information (price, time).

BTW, Lylas should be the only opener and they are slotted to start around 10pm.

Did I ever talk about the time I almost got arrested for underage drinking at Sebastian's? Does Sebastian's still exist?

I might come out Saturday night, if I feel like it.

For those of you going to the Predators game Saturday night, please note that it is Second Harvest Food Bank Food Drive Night, so don't forget to bring those canned goods and non-perishable food items - they'll be collecting them at the door.

EDIT: By the way, I love that this is in the "Concert Reviews" section.

You should elaborate on that. Mike always let me drink when I was underage, but if I got anywhere near the door he would get really pissed off and start lecturing me.

Based on my one experience at Wallstreet, I found it to rival SlowBar in poor ventilation and nauseating accumulation of cigarette smoke. I had to step outside for air throughout the night and my eyes were still red the next day. I don't even think the place was at 1/4 capacity.

The Features and Lylas are my two favorite local bands, but I may have to skip this one. Smoking bans are the way to go. (Thank you Mike Grimes)

I was wondering why no one had been asking the ever-important questions. I just didn't look in the wrong spot I suppose. Nice to get a definite time.

I frequent 2 message board and it's so great to hear about all the love the Predators are getting! I wanted to go Sat. night, but they've got less than 400 tickets left and they aren't cheap. The Features show will have to be enough fun for one Sat. though...
