oh i can definitely agree with you on that one, mr. faldo. some of my favorite songs have choruses that are modeled in that fashion. and they seem to stick in your head for longer, i guess it's the lack of words. anything that requires less thinking is good by me. rolleyes.gif

I totally agree. My fave track on Maladriot, "Burndt Jamb", doesn't have any words or anything in the chorus, just a nice jolt of riffage (that I appreciate).

And then the glorious "Leave It All Behind."

On a sidenote: while I was typing this Oasis "All Around the World" came on Control Freak so I immediately yelped and went to Control Freak's site. And...of course...something called Cheville "See Red" won. What is that crap?

HaveSomeSoma, I would just like to comment on your avatar...LOVELY. I love Ghostworld, and the guy with the mullet in the convenience shop...Let's just say he's a priceless character.

I agree... but does anyone think that the Ghost World redneck looks a bit like Sam Baker?

There's also speculation that he's in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' video for "By The Way" as the white trash guy that kidnaps Anthony Kiedis. I'm still not convinced...anyone able to confirm this?
