TOPIC: A tab site for the Features music?
Posted  Friday, July 15, 2005 at 8:33 AM
Post 1 of 37
Every day it seems I have more and more time on my hands and was thinking about making a tabulature site for guitar and bass for the features music. Before I do anything close to this I wanted to know if anyone would actually go to it so I can see if I'd just be wasting my time. It also saves me having to post a new tab on the forum every time I finish one.

ok. here's what to do then

1. get a template for bass tabs, to get one go to submit tab, then it will give you a link for one. Copy the template onto notepad or whatever else you have similar to it.
2. okay, now that you have your template you can work on the tab. Just make sure you got the right template though 4 lines for bass.
3. the songs you want to work on right now are the ones that are guitar tabs already but don't have bass tabs, so in other words do
Dark Room
Exorcising Demons
Someway, Somehow
The Idea of Growing Old

PS i noticed you already did Blow It Out

You go to the bottomof the screen and select it from a scroll-down list.

I'm not sure about that. They seem to insist that you give each tab you make a difficulty level.

ah but i think the actual website has been revamped, it's never had the difficulty option before. there also seems to be a slightly sleeker look.

i keep getting e-mails with requests for songs to tab. okay here's the deal, if you e-mail me, i'm not very likely to get around to it for up to 3 months. if you post it here, i'll do it in a week. I've had requests such as the cribs, arctic monkeys, the pink spiders and of course the features. i would love to be able to do them all but it's not physically possible right now.

yeah, we've played - blow it out, circus, Exorcising Demons. I can't remember what else right now, but my other band are doing a few as well. Furthermore, in this tabbing process, I need someone to make a really big list of EVERY features song recorded. Thanks in advance. (This has to include new ones)

This includes everything from Wiyum's list (which included everything up until 2003) plus all the post Exhibit A songs I could think of. I'd say it's moderately complete.

don't worry about it, i'll be doing all the guitar tabs before even thinking about the bass ones. Just do any of them that aren't done and let me know which ones you've finished.
