Maybe she will,
Maybe she won't
Find what she's looking for.

Maybe she does,
Maybe she don't.
It's hard to say, nothing more.

Everything stands the same as before.
It's all so vague, spare me some more.
I thought I knew what you were going through,
But I don't.

Maybe I do,
Maybe I don't
Find what she's looking for.

Maybe I will,
Maybe I won't.
It's hard to say, nothing more.

I'll feel better knowing I'm wrong.
As I lose touch, it turns her on.
I thought I knew what you were going through,
But I don't.

Maybe she will,
Maybe she won't.
Maybe she doesn't,
Maybe she does.
Thought I knew
Thought I knew

These lyrics were originally posted on the Spongebath website. However, they were not officially endorsed by the band. In the version recorded in the Mahaffey sessions, 'she will', 'I will', and 'I do' are in a different order.

The Riff:  A-G-A-C-A-G
              A-G-A-C-A-G (x2)

                 F#m    (F#  G)
Maybe she won't
A                                   F#m    (F#  G)
Find what she's looking for.
A
Maybe she does,
                 F#m      (F#  G)
Maybe she don't.
A                                  F#m     (F#  G)
It's hard to say, nothing more.

D               A                           E
Everything stands the same as before.
D              A                             E
It's all so vague, spare me some more.
F#m           A      F#m                        A
I thought I knew   what you were going through,
F#m    E             (riff x2 again)
                 But I don't.

2nd verse and chorus are same as first.  For the ending, just hold an A.  These chords are all standard barre chords, with more concentration on the bass strings for that riff.
