TOPIC: Blow It Out

Obviously some additions are needed to this.

Sometimes I'm up sometimes I'm down
And other times I'm probably found
Somewhere between a pair of huge
Speakers pushed by vaccuum tubes

Blahbeddy blah don't know the first line of the pre-chorus
Watch it go round and round
Here I've found that I'm alright

If your happy and you know it turn the volume up and blow it out

You could be my guiding light
Underneath the something
When someone could be something
Something something my name is Matt Pelham and I like to mumble when I sing

Chords are:
D A F#m Bm D A G A verse and chorus, last time it goes back to the D instead of the A
G D F#m Bm A G D A

Use your ear for the rhythms, it's too late to write all that out.

Ok. Is the first line of the pre-chorus 'Let it die' or 'Let it down'? Other than that, I'm pretty lost too. Then again, I've just got a live copy.

i think its 'let it down' in reference to a record, hence the watching it go round and round.
thank you for being a friend.

I clearly heard the words to the second verse tonight at 12&porter, but now I can't remember them. Maybe somebody else can help.. it was something like this:

You could be my guiding light
Shining on the vinyl bright
something something
Where I can lay my arm to rest?

something like that.. the last line definitely said something about an arm, like an arm on a record player. This guy sure does love records.

You could be my guiding light
Shining on the vinyl bright
To help me find the place that's best
Where I can lay my arm to rest
