TOPIC: Bring on the Night

It comes as no surprise
When you get around.
Right between the eyes,
That's where you hit the town.

So bring on the night.
Bring on the street lights, too.
We'll get it right
If it's the last thing we do.

Bring on the night.
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!

You might think it's wise
To hide behind your door,
But soon you'll realize
That's what the day is for.

So bring on the night.
Bring on the crowd* lights, too.
We'll get it right
If it's the last thing we do.

Bring on the night.
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!

Bring on the night.
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!
We'll get it, we'll get it,
We'll get it right!

The asterisk marks the lyrics about which I am uncertain. The lyrics for this song seemed to have stablized so I decided to go ahead and post them.

i think on the verses there is another G# at the end.

i'm still working on the chorus, i think it goes E G# C# B A

but i don't think it's Bmaj at the end of the chorus.. it's like the 7th or diminished or something.

you're everybody's second home
always trying to get me alone
an easy way to lose it all
always there when all else fails
over by the west side rails

After many, many listens to the Krampf version I settled on:

So bring on the night
Bring on the bourbon, too.

It's either that or:

So bring on the night
Bring on the mermen, too.

I didn't know there was a studio version of this song. Was it the version that used to be on the web-player? It used to be one of my favorites!

I tried to do that... unfortunately, I wasn't nearly as computer savvy as I almost am now.
