TOPIC: Engine Debris

While focusing on the audible noise,
The curt* sound waves are leaving no choice.
Baby can't you see?

Automatic ants in everyone's pants,
When the system works, we get to advance.
It doesn't matter to me.

It's all engine debris,
Baby, can't you see?
It doesn't matter to me
So just let it be.

The machine, it has no soul.
It took away my rock 'n roll.
Baby, can't you see

That it won't stop until it's through?
It's taken my girl, and it took you, too.
It doesn't matter to me.

It's all engine debris,
Baby, can't you see?
It doesn't matter to me
So just let it be.

It's all engine debris,
Baby, can't you see?
It doesn't matter to me
So just let it be.

And it all comes down
To the office in town
Where they'll gather around
To hear the brand new sound.

It's all engine debris,
Baby, can't you see?
It doesn't matter to me
So just let it be.

It's all engine debris,
Baby, can't you see?
It doesn't matter to me
So just let it be.

i'm guessing the lyric 'it comes down to the office in town where they gather around to hear the latets sound' refers to spongebath.....am i correct in this assumption?
We have about 1500 songs.....all of them good!

That's doubtful, since this song compares the rock industry to a crashing plane. I'd say it refers to big nasty corporate rock. Spongebath wasn't much of an 'office', and Matt Pelham seemed to support it until around the time of its demise (witness: Captain Williams)
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.
