TOPIC: Exhibit A Songbook

I really want to rock out to Features songs, but some are too hard for me to figure out ('cause I'm dumb). Could there be a songbook in the future with lyrics and tabs? Whose decision is it to make such a thing happen, the band or the label? Does it have to do with the band's popularity? If they can publish stupid shit like Britney Spears sheet music, they can publish The Features. Right?

It certainly would be fun if they could. However, as a pianist (and I guess a bit of a keyboardist?), I'm not sure much of it would really translate to my instrument. Anyway, I'm sure some of you guitar people would enjoy having an Exhibit A book. So would I, just for the novelty of it, if anything.

They won't make one if enough people won't buy it. That goes for the band or the label or the publishing companies. I doubt there are enough sales or interest to warrant one.

You'd have better luck, for now, just requesting tabs here. Most of the time, people are obliged to help.

I have a Pink Floyd book for the album Wish You Were Here, and it has the chords, lyrics, bass tab, guitar tab and drums. The idea is that you could recreate the song with a band if you wanted to. I think a plain guitar (or piano) book would be boring.

And yeah, I've got some stuff figured out, but it would still be cool for the novelty of having it.

As a novice guitarist myself, I am always looking for a new challenge, I also think having a tab book with The Features songs in it would be awesome. I have one for Led Zepplin with their first fien CDs but, not being here for the whole Zepplin AC/DC movement, I don't think I would aprreciate knowing that songs as much as I would a band thats awesome today, not a long time ago. I'm typing really fast right now....I thats probably *i really need to learn how to spell* why I'm making so many mistakes... If you wer ewondering...Which you probably wern't, I'm going to go now, HAVE A NICE DAY! wink.gif

Features songs aren't very hard to figure out.. For those who are beginning musicians, they are good songs to learn on. But yeah, just ask on here if you get stuck.
